Triangle Coffee House — Restaurant in Durham

I'm not going to lie. I stopped by here thinking that I was going to get a coffee for my partner and myself to improve the day. My order, a sum of 26$ was a London Fog, an Iced Chai Latte, a regular Vanilla Latte, and two crumbl cakes.

It is my sincere belief that the gentleman, kind as he was, did not know how to make any of the beverages. A London Fog is steamed milk, vanilla, and Earl Grey tea. My London fog was steamed milk. The Iced Chai, was steamed milk with cinammon, and the vanilla latte was.. you guessed it, steamed milk and possibly espresso, but without vanilla. All three of the orders were missing a third of their components; therefore I can't really say these are the worst Latte's that I've ever had, but they are the worst variations of steamed milk jubilee that I've personally encountered.

I actually called my partner to see how bad the Latte was because of how poorly my London Fog turned out. She said that she shared her Iced Chai with some of the staff at the hospital and after a sip from two other people they said that she should just pour it out.

So, personally, I believe that you can find a similarly priced disappointment across the street at Starbucks. I would not suggest patronizing this establishment for anything order than the cakes or the atmosphere, because the atmosphere...

My new favorite coffee shop in Durham! I’ve been wanting to try this place and finally went. My first trip I got the Bull City Turtle latte (iced), got a vanilla frappe for my daughter, and we split a blueberry muffin. Everything was so good I had to bring the rest of my family the next week. The kids got a strawberry frappe and we all split an AMAZING cinnamon roll that tasted more like a croissant. I like that there are good non-coffee options for my kids but the latte itself was so well-made. The espresso was smooth and it was sweet enough to add flavor but not overly done. The same barista was there both times and he’s pleasant and warm. i love this place and come frequently. the owner is frequently behind the bar slinging lattes himself which means you consistently get a good drink and i feel creates a nice sense of community. it’s a great space to get work done since there’s lots of seating both inside and outside. some of y’all with your negative reviews need to calm down and support local lol

i like the red velvet muffin top too and this is one of the only places in town i can regularly find black & white cookies. my typical drink is mocha with oat milk but the strawberry matcha was delish when i tried it. i've also tried some of the specialty lattes, smoothies, and frappes, and i've enjoyed them all. my only feedback is the brand of oat milk isn’t super creamy but it still...
