My husband and I went to this Waffle House today around 2pm. Hayley was our waitress and provided very good service. The food was good. Our problem is the very loud yelling, laughing and shrill talking of several of the other female employees. They were running back and forth behind the counter being very loud. At one point I put my fingers in my ears. My husband has a hearing aid and due to volume of the females, it was actually painful to him. Hayley saw from our expressions that the noise was bothering us and asked one of the females to keep it down. The person responded by saying life is too short not to have fun. So needless to say, the noise continued. We finished our meal and when I was paying the check I told Hayley I appreciated her trying to calm the group down but I wanted to relay some comments to the manager. The manager came out I explained the issue with the noise, praised Hayley and told him the food was good but if I wanted to eat with all that noise I would have invited all seven of my grandchildren over and dined at home with them. Frankly, I don't think the manager had any intentions of apologizing but I kind of let him know I expected one. I was surprised he was in the back when it was all going on and he did nothing. You know the size of Waffle Houses so you know he was very close by. I did tell him I thought it was a good thing if employees enjoyed their job and the companionship of other employees but the customers comfort should be taken into account first. I will not return...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI HAD to write a review, because I need for everyone to know about the incredible service and food at this location. Let's face it...Waffle House restaurants have been a source of entertainment for years. THIS location, however, completely caught me off guard. There was a good number workers, which I'm guessing means that people show up for their shifts. There was a patient man in charge of seating. The establishment was extra clean- everywhere. The place was incredibly busy, but at no point did I see any disgruntled workers. Everyone wore a clean uniform. I will admit; my faith in younger workers has diminished, but THIS staff of mostly younger (maybe 30 and under) people worked completely in sync. I saw nothing but professional (beautiful) faces, and I heard absolutely no sidebar conversations about anyone being tired, or waiting to get off work. All verbal interactions centered around orders. A few of the servers knew some of the regular clients' orders by heart. I ordered carryout, which was absolutely delicious, and cooked to perfection. I usually don't write long reviews, but I wanted these people to know exactly what I thought of their workplace. I hope everyone...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI regret to inform you that my recent dining experience at Waffle House was not satisfactory. Several errors occurred with our order, causing inconvenience and disappointment.
Specifically, my son's grits were missing, and his eggs, which were supposed to be scrambled, were served fried hard without the yolk and chopped up. Additionally, we did not receive any drink refills throughout our meal.
The bacon was slightly burnt and dry, and the hash browns were not smothered, covered, and capped correctly. These errors collectively contributed to a poor dining experience.
While I usually leave a tip as a gesture of appreciation, I felt compelled not to do so on this occasion. Regrettably, this experience will likely deter me from visiting this particular Waffle House location again.
I believe there is a significant need for improvement in various aspects of the service provided. I chose not to further engage with the server due to the numerous errors and their apparent focus on other customers, which left us feeling neglected.
I hope that this feedback will be taken into consideration to enhance the dining experience for...
