Worst customer service, "compliments" of Randy. He was short and rude with me while doing my kitchen layout. Not sure what I might have done other than wait patiently while they worked thru the backlog of customers. In one instance, he seemed annoyed when I had to change my mind about an alternate size cabinet, because they didn't have a 30" base. Like he expected me to know in a snap what a different sized cabinet would do to my new kitchen layout.

I thought Randy might just be having a bad day, but he proceeded to harass me from behind his computer because I didn't come back to pick up my cabinets when I said I would (I turned out I just couldn't do "after 2 when everyone is back from lunch" like he insisted. I intended to dome earlier that day. Anyway, when I made it today, Randy yells across the lobby, "his cabinets have been on the dock for a day and half waiting for him to pick up!!" not once, but twice. This made me feel pretty uncomfortable with all eyes suddenly on me, while resisting the temptation to give him a snarky reply back. I decided against it to spare the customers he was working with any drama.

Anyway, after two consecutive visits where I was treated like I'm the jerk, I think I'll just go to Lowe's. Maybe I'll pay a couple bucks more, but the employees are professional and a delight to chat with while making a purchase or while finding something for me.

p.s. I wonder if the reason Home Center is short on help is because of Randy? He was also kind of snappy to a fellow employee. Nobody wants to work with a "Randy," do they?

Great place to get items to remodel at a reduced price.They have a decent selection, and most of the staff is top notch. We usually end up buying cabinets and tubs from here, and tile somewhere else. They do have great prices on tile and flooring as well, but my wife usually doesn't see something she likes. They also have a nice selection of doors and windows, as well as counter tops. They offer a service to help you plan your kitchen, but I have not tried...
