Only two starts and thatās for the waitress. She was quick to take my order and very pleasant. My eggs⦠ordered scrambled with cheese. Receivedā¦. Scrambled, overcooked no cheese. I only came for the cheese eggs.
Watched the ācookā put the batter into the waffle maker. Two were for a father and daughter. The third was mine. The first two had a very sizable helping of batter. So much that it raised the lid while cooking. Mine⦠guess you could say it had the bare minimum of batter. All three were set to the same timer. The first two had a nice fluffy appearance. Mine⦠looked like a stamped piece of leather. Didnāt eat it. Didnāt say anything. Pointing out the obvious is annoying to me.
This location had more problems with itself than my order so I didnāt want to add to their list.
Apparently the online ordering wasnāt working properly. Customers were ordering on the line and paying for the order on the lineā¦. But the store wasnāt receiving the order. This led to confusion, frustration and stress for the employees and customers. There appears to be some sort of staffing issues as well⦠I wonāt go into that ⦠just not fair to air that out.
Even those these problems did not affect me I feel as it did indirectly effect my order.
The waitress did offer to have my eggs remade with cheese (itās the only reason I came here anyways). However I didnāt have time to wait. I didnāt make a silly fuse about the eggs or the waffle.
I just marked it up as āwelpā¦. Not coming back hereā
I did tip over $4 on a $16 bill. That was for the waitress.
I just wanted some cheesy scrambled eggs and a fluffy...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhen I first walked in I was suprised to see alot of trash under the table where we sat, especially since its a fairly new restaurant and it wasn't busy. The server Hayley was nice but needs more training. My son spilled his orange juice and she looked at us and pointed to the napkins on the table without coming over to wipe the table or booth. We got our food very quick but she placed a syrup container that had syrup running on all sides of the container and onto the table...when my son grabbed the container of course he grasp the container where all the syrup is. I had to ask the server Hayley to clean the bottle which she did but neglected to clean the table where the syrup overflowed. So now I had to leave my food with flies flying everywhere and take my son to the restroom so he can get all the syrup off him. So now we are back at the table and its full of napkins from the spilled juice and sticky syrup. She gives me the pay ticket but does not try to remove any of the napkins from the table. So we are eating and swatting away flies, the windows are so dirty you can't see out of it, my son wanted to play something on the jukebox but it looked like it had not been cleaned since the place opened. I then look at a cart which had cleaning supplies, sugar and toilet paper on it in front of the restaurant where customers can see. I specifically wanted to come to this restaurant cause it is fairly new...disappointed to see trash, flies, dirty windows and unexperienced wait staff. The food was good and quick infact the cook cleared my table and offered...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHard to believe this place is relatively new. My husband and I have been to this location a few times. Last night was probably the last. There were numerous plastic bottles and even a squished beer can in the parking lot near the front of the restaurant; that should have been an indication of what we were about to see. We walked in around 7 pm--not in the middle of the night, mind you--and the three staff members weren't doing anything, yet there wasn't a clean booth in the house. EVERY single booth had a dirty table, dirty seats, or dirty floors underneath. We were greeted when we arrived, and the server said, "Sit wherever you like." I responded that I'd sit when I found a clean spot. I literally walked through the place (no other patrons were there). She said, "Pick one, and I'll clean it." So, we picked one, and she never even attempted to clean it! I sat there cleaning with paper napkins. The cook had dreads topped with a hat--no hair net or anything. I worried about hair in my food, but it came out OK and tasted fine. Our server was nice enough but clearly lazy. There was no salt or pepper on the table, and she didn't bring out syrup with the waffle. I tried to get her attention, but by that time, she was serving other customers. We only stayed because we were tired, hungry, and it's just a couple of miles from home. Go here if you don't mind contracting a staph infection. I paid for college waiting tables, and our motto was: If you can lean,...
