Wang's Garden — Restaurant in Durham

We ordered dinner here. Got to the house and realized there were no shrimp in the second order of shrimp fried rice. Called up there and had to go back and forth with management about what was ordered and how much was paid. It was stated that no shrimp was ordered for the second order. Um, the cashier repeated the order back to us several times. Management stated that the cost for shrimp would need to be paid because we were not charged for a second order. So because the cashier didn't charge correctly, we can't get the order remade correctly without paying for it. Mind you, we are at the house. The resolution was to come up there the next day to get the shrimp. Um, were they going to just give the shrimp, remake the order, what?!? My nieces was just there picking up food & was yelled at and threatened saying that their card declined and no payment was received. Now the lady behind the counter didn’t try to see what the problem was and just refused service and my nieces have proof that the payment was withdrawn. They immediately FaceTimed their Mom and we can hear & see this lady yelling and throwing forks at my nieces and cursing. This is unacceptable, they are college students trying to get a bite to eat. Wangs is pretty damn good. We live in the area (and yes it is in the hood) and have been pretty happy with wangs since we moved here. Lo mein noodles are really good and I usually get general taos chicken. If you are reading other reviews, in the last year aND a half, I've never been sick off their food, the folks who run the counter are generally pretty nice if you are, and let's not kid ourselves there are very few places in the ghetto that are nice to sit down at or don't have an occasional bug.
