Before I even walked in, I knew I wanted a gift card for fathers day. I wasn't greeted by anyone. I can see one worker texting as I walked in, supposed to be working the drive through. After about 5 minutes she asked if I was ready, to which I said yes. I asked Do you guys do gift cards? She said yes. I wanted something for myself so I told her ill let her know when I'm ready. About 5 min later i told her i was ready. Still, no one came to me for another 5 minutes until another lady came and helped me. Wasn't in a good mood at all. Was going to tell her that I've been waiting here for a long time. I should have said something but I bit my tongue. Maybe if I did the management and teamwork can be fixed. But her day looked already ruined. And I wouldn't want to make her explode. She had to walk all the way in the back for the gift card which took another 3 minutes? I ordered a strawberry frozen lemonade which also was overflown. Thankfully as I was walking out, a worker saw that my strawberry frozen lemonade was overflowing. My frozen lemonade looked fine until I put the straw in. The worker said to me that it would ruin my car! So she made me a new one, this time when I put the straw in to drink it, it didnt overflow. She made me happy. It really showed she cared when she fixed it. Other than that... not good service. Be proud of your work, otherwise why are you there??? Good food for thought. I got my gift card though but the hassle was too much. Definitely not...
Read moreI had a very disappointing experience at the Burger King located at 996 Joliet Rd in Dyer, Indiana. While attempting to place an order through the drive-thru, the team member who took our order spoke in a tone that came across as irritated and unwelcoming, as if we were an inconvenience.
I asked if I could substitute a drink for an ice cream with the Dragon Burger meal and offered to pay the difference. The request was immediately shut down in a rude manner, without any explanation. I then attempted to place a revised order, but the team member stopped responding altogether. My minor child ended up repeating the order through the speaker out of frustration.
Instead of continuing with the order or clarifying anything, the employee suddenly yelled through the speaker that we would not be served and told us to leave the drive-thru. This level of unprofessionalism and hostility was completely unnecessary and unacceptable.
I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the issue through better staff training and customer...
Read moreAte in dining room...person laying in the first booth watching a very loud video on phone. My guess, an employee on break. Very loud and some inappropriate dialogue could be heard by guests (there were 4 of us). By the time my husband and I were finished eating, this person was laying all the way down with a hoodie as a blanket over his head so he could now nap. If I could have found a customer hotline number, I would have called. As an hr professional, clearly there is a disconnect between ownership/management/employees as to company goals, what is appropriate behavior, and the understanding of being part of a team. Very sad. Lost revenues will eventually result is lost jobs and this employee will not see his role in...
