Taquería Monterrey — Restaurant in Dyersville

I moved to Dyersville about 6 months ago and one of the things I loved when I lived in Dubuque was going to Pulidos Taco Truck. I wasn’t able to go as often, so when I heard a more casual mexican food place was opening, I was so glad. I tried it not knowing what to expect. Mexican restaurants are always hit or miss, and this one is amazing. Prices are definitely fair, employees are very friendly, and the food is great. Tacos are authentic Mexican and rival the taco truck I had in Los Angeles when I visited in the summer. i’ve been back multiple times and everything i’ve had there is great, from the tacos (i’d recommend trying the barbacoa and chicken), the elote on the cob, and the hot horchata. Delightful cafe experiemce. Great taste and real authentic experience. And the delicious sauces for a great spicy transition. Food served quickly with great presention. Very nice people run this place. To go is an option.

I recommend anything. I have enjoyed the taco dinner with rice and beans and a buritto. Both beat my expectations.
