LI-SU Thai Kitchen(Eagan) — Restaurant in Eagan

Sad to see how quickly this place has declined. They make good Thai that is better than what you can find in the area but nothing mind blowing. The challenge is they are massively understaffed. One front of house person tries to wait on the dining room and manage all take out orders. The website no longer shows any of their appetizers and when you try to call they have disconnected their phone line probably because they are so overwhelmed. A couple tried to come in tonight as I was waiting on my to go and the front of house person said they cannot dine in because they are too busy. I waited an hour past when it said my order would be ready. While this is annoying for me, it is a terrible thing to do to the poor Uber Eats and DoorDash drivers. They need to hire more people and figure this all out because it has been an issue for months...

I was personally sad to see its predecessor, China Gourmet, go away but LI-SU is an excellent place to take its spot I must say!

I’ve ordered takeout twice now and the food has been absolutely delicious and full of excellent flavor! Prices are fair and portion sizes are good too, I wasn’t disappointed with anything I ordered in the two times I ordered from here!

I also like how even ordering online, I can select level of spiciness on my entrées and have done medium each time, which for me has been the perfect amount of kick without burning my tongue off.

It’ll definitely be a spot I return to many times for my authentic Asian...

So good! Don’t let the small size of this restaurant fool you, the food flavors and quality are fantastic. I’m so glad this opened in Eagan and we can get great Thai dishes for my wife and I, and some Chinese options for my kids! Excellent flavor, the vegetables were very fresh, and the texture of the different noodle dishes were excellent. I took a bite of my kid’s sesame chicken, and was even amazed that this dish that is typically bland at other restaurants had a great chicken flavor and texture!
