Rita's is an exceptional establishment that offers a delightful array of frozen treats. Their Italian ice is truly superb, and one particular combination that I highly recommend is the Florida orange and mango. The blend of these two flavors creates a refreshing and tangy taste that will surely satisfy your craving for something sweet and tropical.
In addition to their incredible Italian ice, Rita's also offers a variety of misto shakes that are simply superb. These shakes are a perfect combination of creamy and icy, providing a delightful texture and a burst of flavors. Whether you choose the classic flavors or opt for their seasonal offerings, you can be assured of a delectable and satisfying treat.
One of the highlights of Rita's menu is their frozen custard. Made with high-quality ingredients and crafted with precision, their frozen custard is a must-try. The smooth and velvety texture, combined with the rich and indulgent flavors, make it a truly delightful dessert option.
While there is much to praise about Rita's, it is important to note that they are closed during the winter season. This may be a downside for those who enjoy their frozen treats year-round. However, it is understandable that this closure allows them to maintain the high standards they are known for and ensures that their customers receive the best possible experience when they are open.
Overall, Rita's is an excellent choice for anyone seeking a delicious frozen treat. From their superb Italian ice to their delightful misto shakes and irresistible frozen custard, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Just keep in mind their seasonal closure during the winter months, and be sure to plan your visits...
Read moreWent to Rita’s on a nice warm day… was expecting to get a gelati but machines were down… it’s 4.99 for a small gelati which is a fair amount of ice cream. I instead got a small “cup”, or even a tea cup plate if you will, of ice cream which looks as if it almost could be a lid, and is a total of 4 mediocre bites of ice cream… two if you prefer bigger bites… which apparently is WAY more expensive than a gelati. It was literally only 1 scoop of ice cream for 6.40 which is very over priced for the amount. I could’ve got cold stone which tastes way better and offers more ice cream for the same price, or even a Ben and Jerry’s pint of ice cream for 5 bucks, even two McFlurries, six ice cream cones at McDonald’s for that price… the list goes on. Very disappointed and it kind of ruined my whole day and I was going to just not get anything but didn’t want to be rude. Terrible experience and there’s new owners which makes sense because I never remember ice cream being something to be stingy over. Waste of money. This is a sad excuse of an ice cream “cup”. Very sad. This is not okay. Nothings okay. WILL be bringing my...
Read moreI have to start by saying, I really do love Rita's. I look forward to going and getting a treat at least once a week in the warm months. However, I have to say that this year, the quality of product and especially the quality of service has taken a definite downturn. The employees aren't friendly and sometimes are just downright rude and unpleasant. They act like they're angry they even have to be there. The eating area used to always be pretty clean but lately it doesn't seem like they're keeping up on it. The store used to switch up the flavors quite often, so there was always something new to try, alongside a few great staple flavors. This year so far, it's just been the same handful of flavors everytime I've gone. Anytime I ask about a flavor they have had in the past, I've been told they no longer get that one. Also, there used to be bits of real fruit in the ice and they told me they don't do that anymore. I find it sad to see a great place decline and I hope they get it...
