OVERVIEW Came her as a result of my wife wanting Chinese Food, and we wanted to try something new, and saw these Google Reviews and figured I'd give it a try.
LOCATION It is kind of hidden off of Ranches Parkway amongst the other businesses in the strip mall.
PRICE The price was reasonable for the three of us. We ordered from the back page of the menu. It was more quantity of items than from other Chinese places, with two wontons, egg roll, friend rice and the main dish, and that was for just one, we bought two and shared with our daughter. In the end it came to about $20.
PRODUCT/SERVICE The food was delicious. I enjoyed the Lemon Chicken I ordered. The only thing about the building, was when we walked in there was no other customers, and it appeared like they'd been rather slow before we came in, and the unfortunate thing was the table was a little dirty, and that's only after saying that they have 4 tables or so. I did find it a little ghetto that their Ice Machine was broken for their drinks and that our food was served in styrofoam to-go containers, even though we were dining in.
EMPLOYEES The employees were very friendly and complemented my daughter, and were so quick to serve. The only thing that was bothersome, which I don't blame them for, was that they were speaking Chinese, especially...
Read moreABSOLUTELY AUTHENTIC Chinese.
The General Tso Chicken is well made, crunchy outer breading, moist chicken. Made from scratch sauce, I specifically asked for extra spicy and they delivered on that end.
Orange chicken was delicious with the right mixture of flavor.
Potstickers absolutely delicious. When fresh and hot and combined with their sauce is the absolute best I have ever eaten.
Cream cheese wontons, absolutely delicious and sweet. Well balanced with their sweet and sour sauce.
Chicken Lo Mein again, absolutely delicious, chicken was moist and noodles were cooked to perfection, not soggy right balance of chicken and noodles.
Chicken Fried Rice. Not normally a fan BUT, I was asked to try it by my girlfriend. I will have to say absolutely well balanced. Chicken pieces were large and plentiful, the rice and vegetables were a great blend and balance, the fried egg was also delicious and plentiful amounts.
I now have a go to authentic Chinese restaurant located in Eagle...
Read moreJust moved to the area, and three attenpts at getting chinese take out at three different places has left me wondering: Does nobody around here know what American Chinese food is supposed to taste like? Cheese wontons were sweetened...they aren't a dessert item, put green onion in them and leave out the sugar! Almond chicken was barely cooked. Sweet and Sour chicken, teriyaki chicken, orange chicken...all very bland and stale tasting. Rice was dry. Spent over $100 on the food, and the only thing that tasted halfway decent was the egg drop soup - yet these guys have a 4 star rating. Interesting. Perhaps this is what the folks in SLC like, but you guys have no idea what you're missing. I guess I'll need to fly back to Denver or Toledo to get decent Chinese food. It's a shame that this seems to be the...
