I came here at almost 10am. There was only one other customer already served in the lobby. I saw two cars go through drive through and two go to the counter then leave. The best thing was that the cashier was friendly and immediately available any time I approached the counter. I didn't hear any hostility in the kitchen. However the food and cleanliness was below standard. I got the bacon guacamole natural burger with natural fries and cherry coke. Fries and coke were perfect. The burger was thin, dry and well done. The guacamole was not a healthy green color. I've never experienced this before but the ketchup has a slightly fermented flavor. It needs to have the dispenser disassembled and thoroughly sanitized. I had fry sauce instead. The ranch dispenser didn't work at all. The fry sauce was empty. The cashier was right there to give me ready to go servings. The lobby is understandably depreciated. The ceiling tiles were all missing. The duct work was all clean looking though. Christmas decorations were scattered randomly. Read moreThis place is absolutely horrible. We have been twice and both times the service was horrible. The first time, we waited 20 minutes in the drive thru for 3 drinks and a fry, and we were the only car in the drive thru. Made the mistake of trying to go again today, and when we pulled up to the speaker box the guy just said “I’ll be with you in a minute”. 5 minutes later we still hadn’t even been asked for our order so we left. There was a car waiting at the window at the time that we pulled past them to leave. We went over to Arby’s next door and ordered food and service was much quicker. When we drove past Carl’s Jr. again on our way out, the SAME car was still waiting at the window (and nobody was at the window helping them btw) and there was a huge line in the drive thru by this point. Management seriously needs get their act together and hire more people as they are CLEARLY trying to run on as slim staffing as they can get away with. So tired of these greedy fast food franchisees not staffing properly just to save a few bucks. Read moreI don't think I have ever had a good experience at Carl's Junior, and frequently I'm put off by their advertising. So I generally go anywhere else. Today, I just needed a drink so I thought it wouldn't matter where I got it, and this restaurant was the least out of the way. I was given a cup that was overflowing with the lid on. The boy at the window asked me if it was ok. Ummm... I asked for napkins. He acted like he didn't know what I was talking about, then shoved the cup toward me, so I took it and held it out of the window while he went and found napkins. I wiped the cup down and wrapped it in napkins to go in my cup holder. I really was in a hurry. As I'm driving and sipping, I notice that the cup has frightening and horrific images on it advertising for a new Amazon show. I know I may be over sensitive, but I don't want to see bloody skeletons on my cup, thank you very much. I was glad I didn't have little children with me, and I'm sad to know that there are children who will see those images. It may seem like a small thing, but I feel like this once again shows that Carl's Jr as a company has no regard for innocence...
