It took me about 4 days to finally eat here because I didn't see prices anywhere on the menu on Google maps. I know it's probably going to be expensive because everywhere from Avon to here is $20 meals. After trying it and meeting the staff and everything like that, I really enjoyed this place and of course it was not $20 but close to it for sandwich which comes with a side. I wish I would have been in here. I've been getting $4 pizzas from Maverick and $7.99 chesters from the grocery store and stuff like that when I could easily just have came here and spent my little $20 in one day and been happy. Very filling. I feel like this place is what Quiznos should have been and there's a reason why quiz knows ain't around no more. So when I bit into the bread I thought oh it's hard like Quiznos but I'm just like after some chewing and enjoying the other flavors. The bread actually had flavor after all of the chewing which wasn't a whole lot compared to Quiznos because that's the only thing I can compare it to. I live in Las Vegas so I don't go to Subway anymore because of the ridiculous prices. I'm not spending $10 for a 6-in tuna sandwich. I'd rather go to cheba Hut which is based in Colorado, but it's still reasonably priced and enjoyable. I have to say I really enjoyed this place. I ordered their Italian sub and I got black olives instead of green olives and asked for some banana peppers and it was very easy. They just said okay and accommodated me no issues. I saw that they had pickles, which I love pickles and I'll spend $8 in Walmart for their cold pickles that are from the better companies. But I asked them for a sample of the pickles and they said no problem. They gave me a little slice and they included one pickle in my sandwich and their pickles are really good too. I've been wanting to make homemade pickles and you can tell they have homemade pickles and I really enjoyed that and I appreciate that. I'm probably going to buy some pickles next time. I had already been looking on Google but I asked the liquor store next door because they have a really big selection and just so coincidentally another guy was asking about places to eat and so between the pizza place across the street and the Mexican food joints in this place, I decided to try this place because their photos on Google maps look the best. It looked like I was going to enjoy their food the most and I'm glad I made that choice. So I'll be in this area for another month or two and I look forward to having a good sandwich from them again. The potato salad was actually good. It's not normal potato salad. Nothing you would make at home or nothing you would find in the store but really...
Read moreI’ve known the guys behind pickled for many years. They are seasoned restaurant professionals and all around great people. They have impeccable taste and know how to source the freshest produce and dig up artisan products from around the globe to bring them into the valley.
What a gift it is to get out of the resort area and head west out to Eagle and find such treasures to take to go or eat in the restaurant. You get all the best of the Vail Valley foodie scene without any of the pretentiousness or high cost.
Each dish is impeccably prepared and delivered in an upscale yet accessible, comfortable environment. Even the shop’s music makes you feel good as you pick up your goodies.
It’s the perfect place to hang out for a bit or take something home fully prepared and ready to eat with friends and family. I tried the steak and cheese and can’t wait to try more off the hearty and satisfying menu. Highly recommend this new place to locals and...
Read moreI wanted to support a local restaurant. I pulled up at 6:00pm on a Wednesday. I ordered the fancy grilled cheese with ham and some tomato soup. I was told it would take about 15 minutes. No problem. At almost exactly 6:15, they brought me my food. It was delicious!!!!! I put in my ear buds, turned on some music and prepared to enjoy my meal. Almost immediately there was a flurry of activity around me. Employees racing around, bumping my chair, bagging trash in every corner, locking the front door and barricading it with a bike to dissuade any pesky customers from even thinking about entering.. Then all of the chairs were put up on the tables. It was 6:15. I took my ear buds out, motioned for an employee and asked if they were closed. Feeling guilty, I began to wrap up my meal.
No. The restaurant didn’t close for another 45 minutes. They just didn’t want to feel rushed. So they rushed me instead. Delightful. Customer service is dead and...
