please understand that when you come to this hole in the wall restaurant (& yes, i’m aware 99% of the time those little small town, hole in the wall restaurants are the best, this was the other 1%) that you will be served food that is days old & won’t even be room temp. my son, boyfriend & i were starving & i was craving a meat & three so we decided to go there for the first & last time. my boyfriend & i both got the meat & 3, i got my son a cheeseburger plate. my sons food was perfect, no complaints there. however the 2 meat & 3s were cold, not even remotely warm & tasted a few days old. i took 1 bite of mine, my boyfriend took 2 & i refused to eat anymore. (the pics attached are literally what the plates looked like when i walked away) when the waitress came back to my table, i just let her know that the cheeseburger was fine, it tasted fresh but the other 2 were terrible. that i would be glad to pay for the cheeseburger plate & even the drinks. i made sure i did so in a very kind manner & told her it wasn’t her fault, she did nothing wrong. the lady cooking however, came to the register & yelled from across the restaurant at me that “she was right there & i could come talk to her” so i did. & explained the same thing, in the same exact manner to her. she then tells me all she can do is take 1 of the 2 plates off. I told her i didn’t see it was right to charge me for 2 plates that literally tasted days old & wasn’t even warm. she then started raising her voice at me & kept yelling that that’s how it works, if i come in & order something i have to pay for it whether it was worth a damn or not. idk what kind of business believes in this statement, but i guarantee you if I go to a drive through, & the food is that horrible, they aren’t going to charge me for it or will at the very least apologize & attempt to make it right. definitely not treat me as if I was the one to serve them cold, old food & expect them to eat it & pay for it. I guess that’s my fault for not checking those google reviews ahead of time. 🥲 as far as atmosphere, you’re literally met with far right political signs that may leave a bad taste...

Read moreMy daughter and I stopped in for lunch. It was busy so my daughter got us menus off a nearby counter. When a waitress showed up 10-15 minutes later, we ordered promptly. She took our order and brought our tea right away. We sat there for a long time, but we had a lot of conversation to distract us from just how long. We watched our waitress running around cleaning tables and helping other customers. Eventually, she came up to us again and said, “You haven’t gotten your food yet?” She then said she would check on it. She returned saying that our food had been delivered to another table. She said, “She is plating something up for you now.” We left and I will never go back again. Maybe “she” could deliver whatever she was “plating up” to yet another table. I am filling out the last question for the order we placed, but did not receive due to negligent...
