Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in East Alton

Somehow, even when there's a lengthy wait from 'out for delivery' to showing up at my door, it still manages to show up super hot and fresh. I've been ordering from Dominos (and others) in my area for YEARS, and the last year or so has been outstanding with zero issues that I can remember. I cannot say the same thing for the other pizza delivery joints in my area. Always my first choice!

EDIT: Managed restaurants for years. Worked as a bartender/server for years more. I called the store tonight because the last order showed up sub-par from what I'm used to from this location. I didn't get on the internet and shout about it. I called the store. The gentleman I spoke to agreed that sometimes employees can go a little overboard on an ingredient and sometimes they go a little light. But he ensured me that my order would be right back at perfection tonight. And alas it was. It wasn't painful. He heard me and addressed it and we're BACK IN BUSINESS. Tonights meal was one of the most stellar yet!

Whomever is running this place needs to be running a BUNCH more of them. What consistent excellence! And when there IS an issue, it's immediately addressed and right back...

Until recently, my orders were always delivered in a timely manner. However, the last two orders were not. Last night, on the tracker it showed that my pizza was out of the oven and 'quality checked' at 515. At 5:58, the tracker changed and showed that it had just been checked, although the car showed that it was already 5 minutes from me. When delivered, the pizza was STONE COLD and I had to reheat it in the oven. It would have been faster and cheaper to get a frozen pizza if I have to put it in the oven myself anyway!!

UPDATE: Because I am STUPID, I decided to give this store another chance. Afraid to order pizza again, I ordered two sandwiches, a salad, and a 2-liter Coke. (order #685491) A total of $31.65! It says "delivered" and I do NOT have it. The store is not answering the phone. I want my money refunded and I will NEVER order from this place again!!! Tue, Nov. 23 A friend finally was able to contact the store and was told to tell me to look again! It was obviously delivered to the wrong place and no amount of looking will make it appear....so hello, Papa John...

Consistently the slowest Domino's I've ever ordered from. Over the past few years we've given them chance after chance, because, frustratingly enough, the food is quite good when the stars align and it gets delivered within an hour-and-a -half of placing the order. But tonight marks the third consecutive order that's arrived two hours after payment, and I'm terribly disappointed. If pickup is the only way to actually get food from here, then I'd rather just travel the extra 2 minutes to Joe's for a better product overall...

Worst of all, absolutely no updates are ever given by the local store alerting me that the delivery time of "35 minutes" on the website were wildly underestimated. And when I call 2 hours later to get some form information on our order, the delay is routinely blamed on staffing shortages.

Apologies for the atypically grumpy review; but writing on an empty stomach leads to all sorts of grumblings... After 2.5 hours of waiting, we had to cancel our order and go...
