This place is terrible. My roommate and I went today and we've both been in the food business for a long time where we've worked in a mix of places from fine dining to places like Barnabys. We are pretty easy to please when it comes to service as we understand the struggles and have a good understanding as to what types of service to expect from various places. We were both shocked at how blatantly terrible this place was. We counted (no joke) 8 employees behind the counter. There was a couple who ordered ahead of us who ordered two simple coffees and they were still waiting by the time we placed our order. The girl who took the orders was extremely rude and rushed me through even though there weren't any customers behind us or coming in behind us. I've been to this Dunkin before and know they can be slow so I went and sat at a table since we were planning on staying to eat anyway. I watched as the couple ahead of us stood there for about 5 minutes until the woman finally sternly said to them "c'mon guys not one of you is doing anything when you have about 8 orders ahead of you." They left angrily with their two coffees (they didn't even order coffee with milk and waited 5 minutes for that). I finally got up and waited near the counter since they started calling out food orders. Some were mobile orders, which the girl was putting on the counter rather than in the designated mobile order spots. When my order came out she put it in the mobile spot lol. Then I'm still standing up there, food in hand before even getting my coffee, and another girl asks me what else I'm waiting for and I say a small vanilla iced coffee. She said oh and apologized saying she just must have missed that one and gave me a large instead and thanked me for my patience which was definitely the appropriate thing to do. Im glad I actually got up and waited or else I probably would have never gotten my coffee plus it let me see why the other couple was so angry. I watched one employee (?) not even in uniform wearing a black hoodie with his hood up and headphones in txting on his phone walk through and then go outside for a cigarette. Another girl running the take out window was on her phone the entire time txting and watching videos. There was another kid who was actually doing something who came out and filled the napkin holders which had been completely empty when we walked in. There was another kid who started taking out the trash (props to him I guess lol) but this was all after the woman yelled at them so maybe that made them feel motivated to do stuff? As we were waiting for our drinks there was another girl who came out screaming picking things up off the floor saying the employees here needed more than two months experience and needed more training cause this was ridiculous, which is true but like are you management? Why won't you say something to the girl txting? Then three more employees joined the kid in the hoodie for a smoke break, all of them standing on the side of the building completely in view of the customers.
Everything my roommate and I encountered at this Dunkin was extremely unprofessional except for the one girl who made up for me waiting so long. The only good point was that my sandwich was very good. My hashbrowns were cold though. These employees clearly need a reality check. Management needs to get in there and do something because it was a terrible experience and we love Dunkin but we were blown away. Like we've worked at barnabys for gods sake we've seen terrible, lazy workers but this was the worst we've ever seen. Why in god's name does it take 8 employees to run that place? It's Dunkin. Ordered: 25 assorted munchkins, three iced coffees of various types, the two for five croissant sandwiches, one order of hashbrowns, and a beyond sausage sandwich on an everything bagel. Ten minutes after driving away, my friend looked in the bag and found THREE orders of hashbrowns, which I was charged for without realizing. That was not terrible, because more hashbrowns are never bad so I was willing to deal with the extra cost for those. After I dropped her off, I decided to open the box of munchkins to eat one... to my surprise, there were NOT assorted, but instead were all blueberry. GROSS? I decided to drive back and request the assorted munchkins that I paid for. When I got there and notified them of what happened, they said they were all out of munchkins. I was like okay well what can be done..? The person told me to drive around so I could possibly get some regular donuts. When I got to the window, this different person looked at me and said they were out of munchkins. Again, I asked what could be done and she let me know the "limited" kinds of donuts that they had left. I said any were fine out of the ones she described, and she left and came back, handed me a bag, and said, "Here's one powdered donut for you... sorry about that." Okay, so the ONE donut is supposed to compensate me for the assorted 25 munchkins I paid for? Annoyed, I drove away because I did not feel like arguing, especially over donuts. When I got home, I opened the bag of sandwiches to find the two for five that I ordered, but NO BEYOND SAUSAGE sandwich that I paid for. SO - here I am writing this review, as a total of THREE mistakes per one order is not acceptable. DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR MONEY, FIRST OF ALL IM NOT SURE HOW OR WHY I COULDNT FIND A WAY TO LEAVE A NEW REVIEW, OR HOW THIS PLACE EVEN HAS 3.2 STARS BUT EVERY SINGLE TIME IN THE LAST FIVE YEARS THERES COFFEE GRINDS IN EVERY SINGLE LATTE. TODAY I ORDERED MOBILE, AND THE GUY STICKS HIS HAND OUT LIKE I OWE MONEY, THEY THEY DIDNT EVEN HAVE OUE ORDER CORRECT, I PAID FOR EXTRA SHOTS IN BOTH COFFEES AND I KNOW THEYRE NOT IN THERE. ITS RIDICULOUS THAT I PAID 4$ FOR TWO EXTRA SHOTS AND DIDNT GET THEM WHEN I ASKED THE EMPLOYEE AT THE WINDOW IF WE GOT OUR EXTRA SHOTS HE DIDNT EVEN KNOW OUR ORDER TO BEGIN WITH AND JUST ANSWERED’YES’ WITHOUT ACTUALLY ASKING THE PERSON WHO MADE THE DRINKS IF SHE PUT EXTRA SHOTS IN THE DRINKS.
SERIOUSLY THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN.
Literally don’t waste your time, they don’t know anything about their own app, so don’t ask them any questions and god forbid they assist you when the free drink won’t scan. Also they don’t know how many espresso shots go in each drink. I order macciatos for the fact that I get 2 shots plus the extra one I pay almost 2$ for.
