Wendy's — Restaurant in East Ellijay

We came through the drive-thru at breakfast in Ellijay, Ga heading home. We received everybody's order except mine. We parked, distributed the food to make make sure we had everything. We looked at the receipt, and though mine was on the order, and one of the other orders wasn't, mine was missing and theirs was there. We believed the mix up was just because of the length of time we took to order, so no biggie. When we realized we didn't have my food, my wife called and they brought the missing items to the car. She offered to pay for the unpaided for items, but the person declined. I personally do not like Wendy's burgers, though I love their chicken. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they really know how to make breakfast. The breakfast baconator was delicious. My wife order the Honey Butter Chicken biscuit, and loved it. My In laws ordered BEC and SEC and love theirs. The potatoes/fries were hot and very delicious. And we got our food in a relatively fast time considering (we ordered meals for 4 adults and bacon for the kid (she wanted donuts, so we stopped for dunkin donuts afterwards)). I typically don't complain about sitting in their commonly long and slow drive through line, but to sit for 20 minutes until getting to the order speaker only to find a note attached "cash only" was a bit ridiculous. It wouldn't have been hard to have a sign elsewhere to warn potential patrons who intended to pay with a card to go somewhere else instead of wasting my time.

My wife just left on 4/27 and my usual is no longer on the 4/4$.. while I realize this is not necessarily the fault of this particular location- the franchise owner had made this decision, it's now on the 5$ biggie bag. I find this appalling because the 5$ biggie bag was the bacon double stack, now it's just the double stack Hans bacon. Nothing else changed. It MIGHT be worth it if you had some competent employees who didn't allow their customers to sit in the drive thru while their food gets cold for 20 minutes. I will not be returning to ANY Wendy's location as it's clear to me how they conduct business. Let the reviews speak for this...

We decided to try Wendy's cuz it's been about 6 years since we've had Wendy's. Oh let me tell you what a disaster. Get there right around 10:45. Thinking they'd have they're fresh, hot french fries wrong, then we got to our table. They were very cold so in a polite manner I took them back to the front asked guy. Hey man, these are very cold. Can we get some more fries so he walked over to the fry station? Put his hand into the french fries to fiddle with them to see if they were warm. I was like oh God. So you filled up two new packets of fries. Ask me what I thought of them. I can tell right off the bat. They were called okay so that's that, I got the bacon cheeseburger and my wife got the Junior cheeseburger. Both came out cold lifeless no flavor. No effort to making the burgers. The cheese was barely melted onto the Patty. Needless to say we will not come back to this place. We couldn't even finish two bites out of the burger. Very sad because we wasted $20.
