D'eliana Market, Deli & Catering — Restaurant in East Hampton

This place has been on my to try list for years and now I am upset at myself for taking this long to try!

Nothing is worse than going someplace new and not feeling welcomed but this was not the case. The moment we entered we were immediately greeted by multiple friendly staff even those in the back. They even have complimentary seasoned water while you wait!

For a smaller sized store there is so much variety to choose from. There are sandwiches you can order or choose from premade ones, multiple deli sides, a variety of desserts, to go meals, frozen meals and even a small array of butcher meats. Honestly it was hard not to pick up a little of everything.

We placed an order for two sandwiches the panoozi and a porchetta (a Saturday only special) and it did not disappoint!

The man who made my panoozi freshly sliced all the deli meat and prior to wrapping it up he showed me the cross section and let’s just say after 9 months of being pregnant and not able to eat deli meat oh boy did this satisfy my craving and some! I mean look at that work of art!

The panpozi seemed to be a customer favorite as multiple people after us ordered this sandwich as well. It was still warm when we got home and a perfect blend of meaty and fatty.

We also picked up some chocolate dipped cannolis that were filled fresh by order. Even after a few hours later the cannoli shell was still crispy and the traditional ricotta filling was so creamy.

D’Eliana’s Italian Market and Deli is an amazing hidden treasure in Eastern Connecticut! The family friendly atmosphere took me back to cherished childhood memories in New York City! Awesome Food Selections, run by an executive chef and his lovely wife! We are HOOKED!!! Everything made to order and a GREAT catering menu as well. We went for breakfast and can’t wait to go back for lunch and experience their mouth-watering Italian grinders and pick up some fresh made food TO GO!!! We love it and we don’t have to travel far to enjoy AUTHENTIC ITAlIAN!!!! And by the way they serve GREAT COFFEE!!! Not the weak “dishwater” you get in other places AND it’s free with a hot breakfast sandwich on fantastic Italian bread from New York City along with luscious baked goods also from the Big Apple!!! We tried the Limoncello Mascarpone Cake ! The flavors are elegant and DELICIOUS!!!!! MAMA MIA!!!!!!!!! You must try the Mortadella and the Sopresata for yourself. It is out of this world along with the porchetta slow baked all night long!!! And don’t forget to meet “Frank “ !!!...

This was the first time I had done business with D’Eliana’s, and what a fantastic experience! I used their services to cater my daughter’s baby shower, and the food was amazing. A friend picked up the order, and when they delivered the food to my home, I thought for sure it was the wrong order because they added quite a few extra sandwiches (including gluten free). I called the store, and the gentleman I spoke with assured me that it was the correct order, and that he had made extra. He also told me that he had used a gluten free cutting board and area when making those sandwiches.The presentation, generous quantity, and quality of the food was outstanding. Everyone commented on how delicious everything was, and I certainly had plenty of leftovers for when the guys all came back to the house.
