Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in East Hanover

Mediocre sandwich, horrible service. Walked in at 7:20pm. The sign said they were open until 8pm but everything was obviously being put away. Probably should have turned around and walked out at that point but I asked the kid behind the counter if they were open and he said "yes". So I start my order and another guy who I assume was the manager walks out and says "hey buddy the grill is closed". I responded I wasn't ordering anything that had to be grilled and he says "whatever, I'm just telling you it's closed". Again I had the opportunity to walk out but instead I continued my order with the first guy who was quite pleasant actually. I finished my order and the manager came out again and said "why didn't you just say Mikes way". I guess I have him a confused look (because I was) and he said "look at the sign", pointing to the sign above him. "Next time just say Mikes way minus onions and spices". I read the sign and it wasn't what I had ordered but I was thinking to myself that there won't be a next time so it really didn't matter. If you're going to sell $15 subs at least do it with a little courtesy. The sandwich wasn't horrible but it certainly wasn't worth the price or the...

The unprofessionalism of the East Hanover store is unbelievable. I had walked in to order a "Giant #13" for a kids birthday party. She took the order and said "Pay first"--I did and told the employees that while they were making it "Mike's Way", I was going to run next door and get a balloon at Party City. As I was leaving, the employee had her co-worker take an order and ring up someone she knew personally.

When I came back in 10 minutes later, the employee looked at me and said she completely forgot about my order and walked into the back. She had a male colleague start my sandwich and she came back in to finish it. While she was making the sandwich, she asked if I had paid for it (I had). In any other Jersey Mike's I have been to, they waited until the order was complete before asking for payment. This employee (who was not wearing a name tag) seemed to be only concerned about getting payments and hooking up her friends.

Don't waste your time dealing with the unprofessionalism of the East Hanover Jersey Mike's. You are better off going up the road to the one in Whippany or Parsippany--those two know how to treat their...

I ordered a veggie sub today at Jersey mikes. The order clearly said the following - #14 The Veggie - Regular Onions, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Red Wine Vinegar, Olive Oil Blend, Oregano, Salt, Dill Pickles, Banana Peppers, Green Bell Pepper, Wheat Bread. But when I was eating the SUB at work, it didnt have Banana Peppers or Dill Pickles in it. Oh what a shame. For $6.69 am not even getting what I included in the order. If they cannot give what I ask for, why do they include those as selection option while ordering. I guess SUBWAY serves much better SUB with more ingredients.

Update as of 09/23 - Jersey Mike's sent a sorry note and also offered a Free Sub coupon for their mistake. Understanding that mistakes can happen and also because there was no compromise on the quality of the sub, am updating the stars.
