3/28/25 3am- At first I was a little put off by the reviews, but I used to work at dunkin as a teenager, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and went anyways. I had to be at work for 4am, so I went through the drive thru around 3am. It only took 45 seconds from the time I ordered to when I pulled out of the parking lot. My bagel twists were fresh and warm, and the staff were very polite and on point. They seemed to work very well as a team. As far as some of the reviews about people being upset that they didn't have the doughnuts they wanted, the orders usually aren't placed by managers. They are set by corporate. Dunkin stopped making doughnuts in store about 20 years ago. One busy day of selling out won't usually change the regular order for a random weekday if that day usually throws out a lot. For larger customer orders placed days in advance, the manager can request extra, but that doesn't mean their store will get them. People need to relax a bit on judging food service workers so harshly. Yes, there are lazy people out there, I'm not talking about them. Working for Dunkin, especially certain franchises, is an awful and underpaid job where you see the worst of society on days. I've always had a very hard work ethic, but it was a regular occurrence that people would throw their hot coffee at you if they were in a bad mood. Dunkin doesn't let their employees stand up for themselves either. We were told to apologize, smile, and offer to remake the coffee for a person who assaulted us with it. That job is physically and...
Read moreThe staff was not overly polite, but they were not snotty, that is the reason I gave 2 stars. If not for that I wish I could give them 0. Every-single-day I order a croissant, sliced in half and heated. NOT TOASTED! And I have yet to have an issue with any other DD. I placed my order and when they repeated it back to me, they said “toasted” I said NOT toasted...heated. When they toast it, it becomes burnt. Heating it in the “oven” makes it soft and buttery. I get to the window, get my food....the croissant is rock hard and not sliced. So i get back in line (drive-thru) and kindly explain what I had ordered 5 minutes prior and if they could please fix it where I explained again what I wanted them to do. They have me pull up,make another one, bring it out and apologize. Naturally I go to check it and it’s the same thing, just sliced. It’s burnt and hard and NOT how I get it everyday. I worked at DD for over a year. I have appreciation for what they do; I get it. But I also know that there is a difference between toasting it and using the oven and how it comes out. And also, like I said. I have never had a problem ordering this at any other...
Read moreI'm not sure why I even bother with both the silverlane and main st location, maybe because it's close to home but lord behold it seems like management do not care about the amount of disappointed customers. Every time I order my coffee is wrong, half the time it has no type of sugar aren't I paying for this? Why am I paying for something made however your employees want to make it? Today I stopped by at a different time giving it the benefit of the doubt and ofcourse NO SUGAR but enough coffee grains to substitute for it, disgusting I thought Dunkin took pride in their business and customer satisfaction, I GUESS NOT, Disgusting! Might as well drive up and instead of ordering what you would like just tell whoever is taking the order to serve you whatever they feel like because the chances of getting what you ordered is slim to none, let's not mentioned the wait time just to be a...
