CAPOTORTO'S APIZZA CENTER — Restaurant in East Haven

Walked by seen a large sign that said ICE CREAM go inside to see there is a new station of ice cream I ask the girl working what is offered and she is very short with her words and seems like she don’t want to help with the ice cream section. I order 2 Italian ices but then I turn around and facing my back is small signs with the chip Ed of ice cream they serve ( they should be on the wall so I can see as I’m looking at the ice cream not on my back side where people are eating at the table and I’m looking at the signs while there eating ) anyway I order Italian ice she couldn’t scoop it in the cup than I order a root beer float at this point she is huffing and puffing and says she don’t no how to make it than ask for help. To help her out I decided to take a pint instead and pay the difference she than says I don’t no what the price difference is. Listen if you don’t like your job work somewhere else I’m a paying customer there was no need for her to treat us the way she did I always order pizza from here and service is usually good this girl needs to be spoken to. I looked for the owner and manager but it was a Saturday afternoon holiday weekend. I needed to vent as the way she acted and mumbled under her breath was totally...

Gave this a try recently for the first time...Their pizza was very good, probably better than others I have tried in the Route 80 area. My recommendation would be to stay away from everything else. The 3 subs that were purchased were ridiculously skimpy with ingredients....and as bad as the subs were, the 2 dinners we had were worse. An extremely tiny portion of Lasagna looked good compared to the “ Broccoli Rabe Dinner “. I’m guessing they must have been short on their supply of Broccoli Rabe, because the dinner was 95% linguini, and small amount of Rabe and Sausage. It’s clear that whom ever assembled this dinner was trying stretch out a tiny portion of the main ingredient. I could never understand how a chef prepares a meal like this for a paying customer and honestly believes that person...

New Year's Eve I ordered 3 pizzas from Capotorto's online. I was unaware that they were closing early for the holiday, when I arrived they looked like they were wiping everything down for the evening. Mr. Capotorto welcomed us in and restarted the oven. So nice that him and his employees took the time to make the pizzas when we probably should have checked the hours before ordering. They quickly made the 3 pizzas and we had such a pleasant conversation with Mr. Capotroto, he is a kind and passionate man, who cares deeply about what he does. He has been doing this for a long time and it shows!!! The pizzas were hot and delicious and everyone at the party was raving about the pizza and how its their new "go-to spot" as they are new to the area. Please visit...
