I ordered a spicy seafood boil. The seafood part was extremely fresh and tasty .I didnā€™t like how there was not enough gravy or sauce I think adding more sauce and putting the crab boil in a bag so everything is saturated would be good. Broccoli tends to be mushy and potatoes are grilled, which is not what Iā€™m normally used to in a crab boil, I think if they put all the ingredients in a bag, boil the potatoes versus grilling them and add a lot more sauce they would easily be a 5 Star Pl. all around.

been going there over 10 years and they still treat us like strangers. their prices are beyond unreasonable so now i go to 59th and market to get my seafoodā€¦ over 30 years their prices never changed and they like black people! Their prices are disrespectful to customers and its flat out gouging. my last order was $132 for shrimp and crabsā€¦ im not going back there until they stop disrespecting the consumer to their face with these prices. $66 for a dozen crabs is insane

Overall, Uncle Joeā€™s is a good places to go for a quick meal, and their menu includes a variety of fish. Iā€™m giving three stars is because I got a grilled salmon platter with two sides. One of the sides was asparagus that was lifeless and overcooked. When vegetables are overcooked they no longer have nutrients. I was disappointed because I eat food for the nutritional benefits but this place is not for healthy eaters.

I ordered two platters that cost 80$??? one was a snow crab platter the other was a fried strimp platter they burnt the strimps completely .snow crab platter had a little bit of butter in it and was under cooked. I proceeded to call uncle joes and explained my strimp was burnt and crabs were under cooked he told me he could not recook my food (so in other words just deal with it) he was very nasty and disrespectful and said no i would not cook it again. And the strimp was suppose to be jumbo not butterfly strimp. He was very argumentative and did not want to solve the problem. I spent money over the years with them buying blue crabs. This relationship has ended today 3/7/25. I suggest you go somewhere else we need to stop supporting people who dont respect us and only in it...

I come here every week! No it doesn't have the glitz and glamour, but it's a mom and pops shop with fresh seafood. People complain about the wait, but they are busy as hell! The 20 min wait on the weekend is nothing.
