Chipotle is a healthy place that often satisfies my family. We were 6 people and I am on a SLOW CARB DIET. I ordered from the East Longmeadow Chipotle after church. Thankfully everyone ordered "the same thing" as dad. My oldest got a burrito, the rest of us all got a bowl. First, my oldest’s burrito could not be properly wrapped. Therefore they took out some stuff so it could be properly wrapped. I saw the employees struggling. Overall feeling of getting ripped off. Second, I ordered 3 bowls of Beef Barbacoa. It was good. But I was dismayed as the young workers NEVER say the Guacamole is $3 a scoop. Wow. That is not necessary and the employees should explain it is EXTRA. I thought EXTRA Guac was $3 but alas it is not. When I got the bill for $80 I was shocked and dismayed. Look at my receipt and see how much all the guac was in total... WOW! I could have gotten another burrito with that kind of money! Third, I wasn’t clear about where we would eat the burritos, so the worker put it all into a bag. The 3 bowls stood up initially, but the inexperienced worker inadvertently made the bag fall over, tip over. My bowl was extra saucy and I knew, though I am not an employee, I knew my sauce would come out. It wasn’t just leaning over, it was fully on its side for a few seconds. The worker said, OH NO. But didn’t do anything else. I brought the bag to the table and emptied it. By then the bag was completely saturated and the bag was destroyed. My sauces were all over the place. Honestly, if I put the bag into my car, the car seat would have been completely RUINED! Again, no response from the employees. Overall, we ate. We were full. I stuck to my diet and everything was good, but I felt ripped off two times and not completely cared for with the carelessness of sloppy...
Read moreUPDATED: I went back to this location a few months later to see if maybe the workers attitudes were improved. This time around Jacqueline did not even acknowledge me and continued to have a private conversation with her coworker in another language as she cashed me out. Again, do not come to this location unless you enjoy being treated like garbage. ORIGINAL: I have never in my life had a poor customer service experience until today. I normally order ahead on the app but the app was not working today. I screenshotted my order to read at the store. Right off the bat I said I am ordering one adult entree and 2 kids meals. It was very chaotic in there and multiple people were asking me questions at the same time so I did not notice that they made one of my kid quesadillas an adult quesadilla. When I went to check out my order was $44 rather than the $30 it was through the app. I inquired about why the price was so high and I even showed them the screenshots of what I needed and was told they made one of my kids meals an adult meal. The woman ringing me out was openly hostile towards me from that moment on. She did not have on a nametag but the receipt says Jacqueline. I understand that people have bad days and it was chaotic in that restaurant at the time but her behavior towards me was unwarranted and unacceptable. 10/10 will NEVER recommend this location unless you order ahead to avoid being treated poorly by...
Read moreI've only recently started getting take out here and I am very pleased so far. My wife has gotten it for lunch a few times and brought home leftovers that were pretty good cold as well! We have gotten it twice for dinner this week. The online ordering is one the best experiences I've had. The location is clean for the most part, I did go in late on a rainy Sunday so I don't want to nit-pick some of the things I felt could be cleaner. Very well staffed and seemed efficient and friendly enough. Food was done on time and nothing was wrong or missing which is a huge plus. We get the Burrito bowls a lot, I love them, very fresh and quality ingredients! Guacamole is fresh and yummy! Queso is really tasty as well, could use a little more flavor but I also take that as an indication there aren't any artificial flavors in it, also huge plus. As for the portions, they do seem to be inconsistant, still more than plenty to fill you up, but one bowl is marginally filled and the other was PACKED, I mean it felt like 2 pounds! The picture shows literally less than half of what was in there! Didn't think to take one when I got it, I was too hungry. Not complaining hehe but I worry some day I will get next to nothing. Consistancy is important, only for that reason I gave it 4 stars. BUT, considering my experiences at nearly every other place in this town, except 2-3 places maybe, I give them 5 stars for getting 4...
