Burger King — Restaurant in East Los Angeles

Giving it straight five stars for what it is and what it should be for a fast food chain. I don't go to BK often but had some coupons and my son wanted to give it a try so he and I went and had a good meal and a good experience. We were greeted as soon as we stepped up and asked if we were ready to order. I verified the coupons would be accepted and sure enough they were. First good sign. We ordered two large Whopper combos and a Chicken fry with fries. The service was friendly and our order came quickly. The burgers looked great, tasted great and were hot. The fries were excellent and seasoned perfectly with salt. They were also hot. I wasn't crazy about the Chicken fries but was just curious to try them. The restaurant was clean and other patrons seemed to be enjoying themselves as well. There were two families there with children, a couple and some teenage kids as well. No one was "acting a fool" as some say. So refreshing to go to a fast food chain and everything was running smoothly, like stepping back in time. Paid about 21$ for two large drinks, 2 whoppers, 3 large fries and one chicken fries. When we left, we were dispatched with a kind, "Thank you, have a good night" from behind the counter. As mentesrlier I don't go to BK often, but I make it a point to return to business that treat people well and offer a good deal. I will go back to this BK, because the great experience and to support businesses that take pride in their work. Hats off to the manager and the employees.

Food is fine. But this is the third time I've personally experienced the marquee, menu board and order screen-speaker not lit up. ARE YOU EVEN OPEN BRO!! No one said anything at the order screen, so I had to wait to get to the window to uncover the mystery. The phone number also doesn't work, so want that easy. That said, I placed the order at the window and it got to me really quickly. I almost left with a change of heart but then I received 14 packets of ketchup for my not so large order of fries. Yup I'm a plastic heater and we should all be. A company this large shouldn't still be automatically handing out waste and still using plastic...
