El Pollo Loco — Restaurant in East Los Angeles

Workers were EXTREMELY RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL, AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.. I had asked to used the restroom, the cashier said yes. I asked for the key to men's bathroom.. The cook replies there is no key to men's restroom.. keep in mind the men's restroom is designated to be used as men's or women's.. However the women's restroom can be opened by inserting a quarter, So I inserted a quarter and locked the bathroom stahl door and used the restroom. While doing so, another male employee opens the door and starts talking very disrespectful, rude, unprofessional, and aggressively towards me.. I asked him, so men can't use restroom but women can? Why is only men's restroom designated for men and women but women's restroom is not..? He simply told me to get out AFTER I was given permission to use the restroom by the cashier.. I have left and returned about 5 minutes later trying to find a friend of mine who was supposed to be waiting for me outside while I used the restroom and I could not find him. So I poked my head back into and took a quick look around the dining area to see if I spotted him.. IMMEDIATELY I am being screamed at by the manager of that particular shift to leave because I was already there once already.. I couldn't even get a full question out of my mouth trying to ask if they may have seen him enter and leave or maybe if he was in the women's restroom as well..? She was being EXTREMELY OFFENSIVE, BLATANTLY DISRESPECTFUL, AND REPEATEDLY WAS THREATENING ME WITH CALLING THE SHERIFF'S TO COME HAVE ME ARRESTED WHEN SHE WAS THE ONE WHO WAS VERBALLY ASSAULTING AND ACTING VERY UNPROFESSIONAL TOWARDS ME.. I HAVE ALREADY FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE CORPORATE BUILDING, THE REGIONAL MANAGER, THE DISTRICT MANAGER, AS WELL AS SPOKEN FACE TO FACE WITH HILDA SOLIS, WHO I HAPPEN TO KNOW ON A FIRST NAKE BASIS.. DO NOT EAT HERE UNLESS YOU ENJOY STALE, OLD FOOD, THE OIL USED IN THE DEEP FRYERS DONT GET CHANGED EXCEPT MAYBE ONCE A WEEK, IVE PERSONALLY OBSERVED EMPLOYEES SNEEZE OVER FOOD THEY WERE MAKING, AND STILL SERVE IT THROUGH THE DRIVE THRU.. THATS JUST TO LIST ONLY A FEW ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE, UNSATIFATORY, AND DOWN RIGHT DISCUSTING LACK OF HYGEIENE AND PROFESSIONALISM SHOWN BY EMPLOYEES TO THE PAYING CUSTOMERS.. DO NOT EAT HERE, THEY HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO RESPECT FOR COMBAT VETERANS SUCH AS MYSELF, HARD WORKING, TAX PAYING, AND HONEST CITIZENS AND CIVILIANS SUCH AS YOURSELVES WHO WORK VERY HARD FOR YOUR MONEY.. PLEASE DONT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF SPENDING YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY EITH A THIRD RATE RESTAURANT WHOM DOESN'T DESERVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY AND CAN NOT SEEM TO UNDERSTAND EHAT RESPECT, MORALS, PROFESSIONALISM, NOR GRATITUDE FOR THOSE WHO SERVED THIS COUNTRY.. VERY DISAPPOINTED BY SUCH A DISGRACE TO CALL THIS AN AMERICA BASED FAST FOOD CHAIN.. THIS PARTICULAR STORE SEVERELY NEEDS AN AUDIT AND NEEDS THE HIGHER LEVELS OF THE CHAIN OF COMMAND TO REMAND AND VET OUT THOSE THAT SIMPLY DO NOT POSSESS WHAT IT TAKES A PROFESSIONAL EMPLOYEE AT EL POLLO LOCO, PERIOD..

RESPECTFULLY...

This pollo loco doesn’t even deserve one star. I get in line behind two other cars and wait and wait and wait 5 minutes in there’s still no one at the speaker. The vehicle in front of the speaker decides to drive away. Waited another 5 minutes before deciding to step out of my vehicle to investigate, walk up to the window to see what’s going on. Of course, they ignored me. Knock on the window and they finally tell me that they are closed. I reminded them that they open at 10:30am they tell me that today they open at 11. I asked them why can they have the courtesy to tell the poor innocent souls in drive thru including myself? Of course they said nothing. I went off on them. “ I’m tired of you guys, when it’s not one thing it’s another. I’m calling corporate!” End of quote. Of course, they said nothing. They have excuses to spare on why they don’t have any chicken. Never again to that location. And yes I’m contacting corporate. This particular location is giving this great chicken a bad name. 9/15/22 Update: This place never seizes to amaze me. Once again. Six cars in drive-thru and the car in front of the speakers drives away after a while because the place is still closed @10:45 am despite the fact that the place is supposed to open at 10am. On top of that people are trying to get inside for dine in. It appears that this occurs quite frequently in this place. Horrendous horrendous service to...

So I been coming here since small I wish they were better they have several problems they don't fix they just give a face lift every 10 years they need to hire better managers and better head drive thru cashier they older ones always get my order wrong and I've yet to get my order right once here it's always something wrong or they forget to give me something I never go back and complain but they need to change I still come here cause it's the only remotely healthy spot near me also they need to get security or something to keep homeless off property I have kids I never bring cause some are very dangerous individuals ask for money and get mad if you don't luckily none have tested me to where I need to get out and take care of business. But I love pollo Loco and I want and need you guys to do better alot of the younger workers are good just need a. Good manager to keep them on check always double check stop trying to get out order fast and make sure everything on receipt is in the bag that shouldn't be my job there have gone several times where they forget my food and I give whatever I got to my family and u just eat cup noodles to sacrifice for my kids and wife so...
