Taqueria El Atacor #8 — Restaurant in East Los Angeles

If I could I wold NOT give any stars just went last night . April 14 2019 and spent over 40$ for the fam we went from Southgate ca ... Well i ordered some burritos and for myself i order a tripa quesadilla "plain" since the lady who took my order said that they put onions tomatoes cilantro sour cream and avocado I asked for the avocado and sour cream on the side same with the burritos we asked for no salsa and no onions we waited 20 minutes in the Drive-Thru line to get our order and drove all the way back home to South Gate once we got home I opened up my tray because I was going to eat it and it literally had not one piece of meat it had lettuce tomatoes and onion that was ridiculous I was ridiculously upset I drove so far waited so long for them to give me a quesadilla with lettuce tomatoes and onion who does that who freaking does that I had to drive all the way back for them to say that they were so busy that it was not their fault which doesn't make sense to me ... all they did was give me my money back and that was it what about the time I spent wasted right there the least they could have done was replace my order they were rude about it and they were all attacking me I will never go back to that place again also all the burritos had onions and salsa in it this is the worst place I have...

Stopped by here for soma late night / early morning tacos at 12:30 am . They are open 24 hours here.

I got the 10 tacos (asada) and 2 small drinks for $24. It also came with 2 small bags of chips , red & green salsas and our onion) cilantro was separate in a bag.

Tacos were actually good! Usually from 24 hour places this late you get tacos with the meat all dried up or recooked and hard, not here. My tacos were actually fresh tasting and not dry or hard. No regrets here. I got the Pina drink which was good .

To get to the drive thru you need to go in the parking lot around behind the building to a small window on the side where you order ,pay and pickup from. Unfortunately there was a car in front of me that ordered a ridiculous amount of food which made me wait a good 15 mins. While I 2as waiting one of the employees came out to my car and took my order which was super cool, still the car in front of me took forever to get all their food . I finally got my tacos , stopped by a 7-11 on the way home and they were still warm!

They do have a couple of benches that you can sit down outside (I didn't see any indoor seating).

This is a tough review I almost had to give them a three but the food is so darn good it is seriously excellent food everything they have I have never had anything bad I go there all the time it is a drive-thru and they are open late excellent food. However if there is a line expect to wait they make everything fresh they do not rush if there is a line so if you see cars backed up expect a long wait also if you don't speak Spanish you might have a tough time they mostly can get your order but if you want anything special hold this add that it might not happen also parking can be a bit tough to get in and out and if you do want to eat there there's a strong possibility homeless will ask you for money so the atmosphere leaves something to be desired it's on with your boulevard great block full of great food and this place is very solid very...
