This placed was highly recommended by a family member. It started off bad when the cashier walked away without giving the common courtesy of at least saying ill be back. She came to the register and walked away again without saying anything again. She came back to finally take my order but kept speaking over me as I was ordering. Heres the worst part. I ordered along with chicken an extra large potato salad because I was told it was good. The cashier said "We don't have that right now but you can have two large". She must have given me an old order with two large potato salads instead of one extra large. How do I know? Because only me and my wife ate the potato salad and we both got sick. Called in to place an order over the phone and kept being told that they couldn’t take the order because they were busy and to call back. Finally someone took my order. Went in a day before and paid off my balance ($240). I confirmed that my order was for Wednesday 12:00pm pick up. The following day I went in to pick up my order and to my surprise it wasn’t ready. The person there told me it would be ready in 30 minutes then they said 45 more minutes. I cancelled my order and got my money back. I had my employees waiting for their lunch which they didn’t get. I always used to go to the Juan Pollo on Mednik Ave., and I was happy there was another one near where I work. I ordered the Lunch Special that comes with 2 pieces of chicken, rice, potato salad, tortillas, and mild salsa. The chicken was good it was perfectly grilled and tasty. The sides were a little disappointing because they were bland. The rice with chicken bits was tasteless with no flavor. I had to add salt and mix in the salsa to make it flavorful. My favorite thing is the potato salad but this time it was bland. I’m hoping it was an off day and next time it will be better. This Juan Pollo has their own parking lot.
