This place is a great option for breakfast. If you're in a hurry this is not the place go ahead and get fast food. There is seating inside as well as outside. The food was good but I am a chef myself so compared to the creations that I make, it was just okay. Do most people they would probably say it was delicious. The prices were pretty good kind of middle of the road. I got a spinach feta and tomato omelette wrap. I guess I'm really not that crazy about wraps because they get mushy. If I were doing this omelet I would have added Greek olives and artichokes and skip the tomato. The tomato made it too juicy and thus mushy. If they read these comments they will be better cooks.
The staff was friendly on the phone and at the counter. However but if you're looking for something fast this may not be the place. It took a little longer than I expected.
The herbal tea that I got wasn't very good but maybe I just don't like herbal tea. It was a little on the expensive side I thought. Next time I'm just getting regular iced tea.
Everything was clean and social distance at this restaurant. They were plants and nice decor and it was not overcrowded.
Although this restaurant is technically in East Lyme it is close to Niantic which is a village of East Lyme. This is one restaurant that does feel like it's in the village. I think you can find something there that you like and you can be supporting a local business to survive this...
Read moreI have been a loyal patron of the Cafe for about five years now and I will tell you this hands-down, the best café in town. Everything is fresh. The portions are hearty. Baked goods and desserts off the charts. Breakfast plates off the charts breakfast sandwiches off the charts. And the newest addition to the menu, the cheeseburger deluxe is amazing . Includes lettuce, tomato, onion, American cheese, flatten beef patty, and if you even want it, you can get an egg on it and call it brunch. The fries are crispy. The coffee is hot, hot, hot and delicious and by far the most important thing are the people that work there and run the place. To me personally, They are family. There is no Wi-Fi but who needs it anyways instead, you get the pinnacle of the dining Experience where people get together to talk and foster a sense of community while receiving above and beyond customer service. Rita and Nick run the place like a well oiled machine w hearts of gold. Every morning when possible I look forward to seeing them and the staff to chat the small stuff the big stuff and get a positive boost to the day. Go for...

I recently visited this cozy little cafe, and I have to say, the food and service were absolutely outstanding! I canāt wait to return and explore more of their menu.
I ordered the western wrap, and it was fresh and packed with flavor. My mom tried the bacon, egg, cheese, and hash brown sandwich, and she couldnāt stop raving about how delicious it was! The portion sizes are generous, which is always a bonus in my book.
For dessert, we couldnāt resist trying the coffee cake and pumpkin muffin, both of which were incredibly yummy ā the perfect sweet ending to our meal.
What truly made our visit special were the two ladies behind the counter. They were so friendly and welcoming, and we ended up enjoying a delightful chat with them. Itās always a pleasure to find places like this that have a warm community feel.
Highly recommend this cafe for a delightful meal and an inviting atmosphere! Weāll definitely be back to try out more of...
