Burger King — Restaurant in East Lyme

Thanksgiving store says open see people inside they took my mobile order and now are blatantly ignoring me but at same time says closed on Thanksgiving they see me waiting on order I paid for already and the older gentleman knows I'm at window I knocked gently then slightly harder and blatant ignoring and it's clear they are taking money out of the owners mouth or the owner does not have the personal integrity because the property looks run down anyways and it is a testament to why McDonald's down the road is packed and this burger king is almost always empty been here before burgers were nuke warm assembled lazy food had been sitting this is horrible service at best hands down the rudest situation I've ever experienced at fast food restaurant I hope the owner sees this and actually cares but considering the property upkeep and actual tact manners and standard integrity at this location I doubt this place will be open on 5 years considering it's practically dead unless it's set up for money laundering and honesty I see literally little to know business here and i drive by multiple times daily as i live in area and no for a response like this ...it's not my first situation here but definitely my last I highly suggest staying away from thos location I suggest McDonald's if traveling or need a quick bite...

So we live in the neighborhood and we're new and we always like to support Burger King. We travel all over the country with our work. There was a bunch of construction going on and you can barely see the restaurant. Completely not their fault. What I did find absolutely terrible was how cold their food was. How you literally saw the American cheese not even melted on the rodeo burger. How there was a drop of barbecue sauce and a dried out bun that was obviously sitting under a heating lamp of some sort. The chicken wrap that my wife got was absolutely terrible. I've cooked all my life. I know what it's like when you stage chicken tenders. What staging is is when you cook the chicken and then you put it under hot lamp and when an order comes in you redrop it into the grease. You could taste it in these and it was disgusting. You could also tell that the oil hasn't been filtered in days. For a store to be that slow and the food Still be that terrible. I sympathize with the owners of these franchises because they get lackluster employees to say the least. Do not blame the owner of the establishment because Burger King is absolutely delicious. Blame the people that are accepting these jobs and not doing Jack s* about...

Who is this rude woman at the drive-thru window? She doesn’t listen to the order, and when I correct her, she says, “That’s what I said,” then repeats the wrong thing again. Consistently rude throughout the order process and at the pay window as well. Then I’m charged for a large order and get handed a medium with an explanation of “We don’t serve coffee after noon.” It was 12:04, by the way. So I don’t know why I’m being handed a medium, old coffee instead of being told ahead of time so I can just get the large soda I’m being charged instead. It really isn’t difficult to be polite to your customers. At no point was I rude back, but it sure was tempting to just say, “There is no one else here so I don’t know why you’re in such a panic. Please get this right.”

The picture is a Burger King “large” coffee compared to a Dunkin’ “medium” coffee. She said they don’t have any larger cups, which must be new because I’ve had a large coffee before.

Also, do receipts usually come with these orders? I didn’t get one and would have preferred to leave my feedback with BK...
