Subway — Restaurant in East Orange

Run away! These people have terrible customer service!!! I went through their drive through and added all the toppings I wanted on my sandwich only to come home and see that the only thing that was on my sandwich was meat and cheese. I drove all the way bag to ask for my sandwich to be remade, the man tells me “it’s not my fault you didn’t add the correct toppings, I’m not replacing your sandwich, that’s a waste of money.” I told him that I definitely added my toppings, his machine did not pick up my order. He refused to give me a new sandwich. I then requested a refund, this man refused! I then called the police and the man still refused to give me my money back. The cop basically told me that he could only make him add the toppings I wanted to the sandwich that they already made for me. He could not make him give me another sandwich or give me my money back. I said keep the money and the sandwich, it’s the principle for me. What a stupid way to run a business. You just lost a repeating customer because you were too cheap to lose $12, because I will never step foot there again! What an idiot!!!!!! They definitely don’t care for people of my kind....

I stopped by a gas station that had a Subway inside, and I was genuinely impressed by how convenient and efficient the experience was. Even though it’s not a full sit-down restaurant, the quality of the food and service matched or even exceeded some larger locations.

The staff behind the counter were quick, friendly, and professional. I ordered a 6-inch Turkey Breast sub through the drive-thru, and it was ready in just a few minutes. Everything was fresh—the veggies were crisp, the bread was warm, and the sandwich was assembled neatly. They didn’t skimp on the ingredients, which is always a plus.

Inside the gas station store, the Subway area was clean and well-maintained, and everything was clearly labeled and organized. It’s the perfect spot to grab a meal on the go, especially when you’re on a road trip or need a quick lunch during a busy day.

The only minor downside is that there’s no dine-in option, but that’s to be expected in a gas station setting. Overall, I’d rate this location 4.5 out of 5 stars for its speed, freshness, and convenience. I’ll definitely be stopping by again the next time I’m...

So apparently “open 24 hours” at this Subway means only if you’re not too picky about what you actually want to eat. Walked in after 11 PM thinking, you know, since they advertise being open ALL NIGHT, I could get an actual sandwich. Silly me! Turns out after 11 PM, they magically “can’t make” certain sandwiches. Why? Who knows. Maybe the bread goes to sleep. Maybe the veggies clock out. Maybe the toaster has a curfew.

Don’t advertise 24 hours if you’re just going to be a glorified fridge with lights on. If you can’t serve your full menu, say that. Or better yet—just close the store and save us the gas.

Not sure what’s more stale—the bread or the logic behind...
