If I could give it less than one star I would. This was the place to go years ago, but food quality has gone down hill. I ordered Hawaiian shrimp and it looked and tasted completely different from what I remember. The breading was completely off and it lacked flavor. My mom and niece decided to give it another chance last night and they were so dissatisfied. When they went to pick up their order their order had been given to another customer. Instead of them waiting for a new order the restaurant had them wait for the customer to bring back the order and gave it to my mom and niece. Read moreI received a flyer from this place in my mail box. I figured I would give it a try. Food is not that great. Wonton soup had a strange flavor it was disgusting. Vegetable streamed dumplings were disgusting. Shrimp had to much breading on it and starchy. Their food is gross. No thanks will not be ordering from here again.🤮 You have been warned horrible food. Don't believe the good reviews. Probably all the good reviews are fake. I wish people would not serve this garbage to people. Alot of Chinese places have gone down hill in this area. Collegeville has good Chinese food. It might be worth the drive if you really want good Chinese. Tangs Garden in Collegeville is the best...
Read moreI've lived in the area for over 10 years and I have to say for Phoenixville restaurants Asian Cafe has gotta be #1 for consistency and overall experience throughout the years. I think originally I scoffed at the Chinese/Thai/Japanese menu thinking "you can't do all of that well," but I've be pleasantly surprised and wrong about that. They offer a great balance of quality/affordability while still making the indoor dining experience very cozy and enjoyable. The service has been top tier and it's especially noticeable in covid era burnout/malaise. These people seem to enjoy their work and I'm so grateful they've served the community for so many years....
