Sagets Formal Wear — Local services in East Pikeland Township

My experience with Sagets was incredible and not in a good way. Originally we were concerned about going with a local store because we had 3 out of state groomsmen. However, we were told that these 3 groomsmen would receive their suits a whole week prior to the wedding to ensure if any adjustments needed, there would be plenty of time to do so. This did not happen for any of them, so these 3 were trying their suits on for the first time 1 and 2 days before the wedding. Coincidentally, 2 of these 3 groomsmen who were measured NOT by Sagets had suits that perfectly fit. On the flip side, 5 of us were measured in store at Sagets and 2 of us (including myself as the groom) needed adjustments. I purchased my suit, but when my rental shirt came in, the fit was far from good. My father traveled an hour to get fitted by Sagets, yet his jacket and shirt did not fit. When he traveled back to have adjustments made, he was treated very poorly by Sue. He expressed that he is fortunate enough to be in a situation where he could take the time out of his day to come out again for the adjustments, but not everyone could be in the same position. He was then met with “he committed to a wedding, so it was on him to make it work.” Which I agree with to a certain extent, but when you pay a premium price as opposed to going with cheaper competitors, such as Men’s Warehouse, you expect little mistakes and quality service which we didn’t receive. 3 cufflinks also broke when my groomsmen went to put them in for the first time. Upon returning the suits we shared our issues with the woman working at the time and instead of being apologetic we were met with “ this has never happened before “ instead of acknowledging that it did happen to us and made no efforts to make it right. I am sorry to write such a negative review but we were so disappointed with our service for our May 13, 2017 wedding. At first I felt we would be happy with our choice because the interaction on the phone to set up an appointment was pleasant. When we arrived for the appointment there were other people waiting and showing up at the same time...yet we had an appointment. Not one person was apologized to...it actually seemed like we may not have needed an appointment at all but when you schedule a time you assume others are required to do the same. We were rushed and the 2 people working seemed flustered which explains why tuxes came in the wrong sizes and how they didnt even realize they could not get one vest in the size needed. Again, never apologized to. The neck size of the shirt was too small for the groom and they said, "people usually lose weight before the big day." Seriously?! Aweful customer service! Save yourself the frustration and go...

Unfortunately had a very poor experience here. Due to the other reviews, I stopped by Sagets to get information regarding their rentals. After entering the store I saw one other customer being fitted while the Dad sat on the side. One lady was fitting the boy, while another staff was standing behind the counter at the cash register. Nobody said anything to me after many minutes of waiting, so I stated to them that "I was there to get some info."

The lady looked at me and said "ok" and then continued on, while the guy at the counter looked away. I waited for an even longer period of time with nothing else being said. I understand the lady was doing a fitting, but at the very least let me know that I will be helped or perhaps the guy behind the register could have helped me, at least asked me what information I needed.
