Amparo’s Kitchen is a must, the vibes and good people makes the experience special. From the moment I got to the door and was reading the menus I was greeted nicely and helped throughout the ordering process, this being my first time there it totally helped and made it easy for me to order and ask question about the food. The moment I went inside to order the smell was something that could make you hungry for days!! The staff was gracious and extremely nice, they are genuinely good and welcoming people. The food: I ordered the quesabirria which is a variation of birria and a quesadilla, it was amazing I just wish I would have order 4 just for me. The rice and beans where also really good, they tasted as good as the picture shows, even tho I’m a black bean type of guy, their beans were good and the rice in other hand, is the best Mexican rice I’ve tasted in a while. Until today we’ve only seen corn in a cup only in pictures so when we saw that they had it at Amparos we were thrilled to try it. Needless to say it was a great choice, it had some great flavor and topping it off with the lime it definitely elevated the experience. They were cool to let me try all of their sauces but let me tell you!! Their mango habanero and their tamarin habanero sauce are Delicious, they are spicy but extremely flavorful. And to finished this great experience we got the Mangonada, great mixture of flavor super refreshing and the spicy stick ( straw ) make a good combination that you won’t stop thinking about. And not to mention that it contain real fruit, this could have not gone any better.

To close all of this. Amparos kitchen is a must try. This being my first time and being able to encounter such great people and staff must definitely makes me want to come back and I’m sure I will because I must try all of their...

I came here because I was starving and in the area and it had good reviews on Google maps. Unfortunately, I am unable to recommend this place to anyone. There is no indoor seating so we were outside in the patio area. It was around 36 degrees outside and they had a small heater but it didn’t do much to help. First of all, the waiter seemed a little inept and didn’t bring us napkins or silverware. I had to go inside to get them. I ordered a vanilla milkshake for my son and a grilled chicken taco and a chicken tinga tostada. It took at least 20-30 minutes for them to bring out the food. Like I said, I was starving so the food could have been mediocre and it would have tasted amazing because I was so hungry. But it just tasted mediocre so I have a feeling it’s not that good at all. The taco was ok but the chicken tinga on the tostada was WAY TOO SALTY. I was still hungry but couldn’t finish it because it was so salty. The waiter came out and told us that we owed $18 and change. But on the menu, the prices indicated that my food should have cost only $12.87 ($5.99+$2.89+3.99). I asked why it cost so much and they said they raised their prices but they’ve been so busy that they haven’t had time to change them on the menus. I told them they should have mentioned this BEFORE I ordered my food; not after I ate it. The owner(?) said he would charge me what was listed on the menu. The waiter said it was $15 something and my son was freezing so I didn’t even bother to do the math but after I got in the car, I realized they had STILL overcharged me. Of course they don’t show you an itemized receipt. They do it all on the credit card machine. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this place. Maybe then they will finally have time to change their menus to the...

We came here by recommendation of Reddit. So glad we listened! The food was absolutely incredible and fresh! We ordered the pambazo, quessabirria, and enchiladas. The corn tortillas are homemade from real corn and fresh. The guajillo sauce is the best sauce we've ever had. The pineapple habanero sauce is sweet and spicy heaven. Even the tomatillo sauce was so smooth - not as spicy as others, but the flavors are highlighted in their rendition. Their chorizo in the pambazo is sooo good - not overly spiced/seasoned. We also ordered the oreo Heaven shake, and it was the perfect dessert for our meal. We left wishing we had bigger stomachs to be able to eat more lol We originally ordered to go, but decided to eat on the patio as our infant was ready for a bottle. I'm glad we did. We had a great conversation with the owner, who has such a passion for delivering quality food to his customers while also maintaining authenticity. He was very attentive and ensured we had everything we needed and wanted. The patio had an enclosure to shelter you from the elements (something much valued on a windy day). They also have heat lamps for those cold days. Because the food is made to order and is fresh, it may take a little bit of time (ours took about 25 minutes). But we also were one of their first customers as soon as they opened, and quality food takes time regardless. Overall, this is a must for anyone craving some authentic, delicious...

I kept passing this place going up and down Ringgold Road, and I always thought it looked like a place to visit and try out; it looked inviting and like one of those fabled "hole-in-the-wall" places with phenomenal food. YUP, I WAS RIGHT. The food was great (I got the Classic Torta, and the dipping sauce was herby and cool, not very spicy, but a great complement to the torta's mayo and crema). They made it fresh, so it did take maybe 5-10 minutes for them to bring it out, but that bread was so fresh and crispy toasted... it was a great place to eat lunch, the small seating patio had a great breeze, and the service and staff were very friendly and sociable. Edit to add: classic torta and a can of coke was $11. They also offered a cold glass with ice if I wanted. Well worth the money! Definitely looking forward to trying the rest of the menu!
