Let's start with the good. Cute, small menu. Attractive seating area. Friendly staff. Parking. Decent aesthetics. Got all that? Okay, moving on.
TL;DR: Not allergy friendly, undertrained staff, blah food, dirty tables, likely freezer not frozen.

While the menu appears to be gluten/vegan friendly, once I ordered the fries I was informed that everything goes into the same fryer. Thus, nothing is truly gluten free. Upon ordering a burger to be gluten free (with the upcharge) when it arrived it had a gluten laden fried onion ring. When we sought to remedy this, the poor undertrained staff were very stressed and didn't know what to do. Clearly management did not give them adequate training. As for the food, the beef, while better then fastfood beef, really just tastes like Sysco Angus. It may be locally sourced, but that doesn't mean it's got a quality source. The burger itself (black and blu) was just.... "Meh". All the flavors just kinda blended, and nothing stood out. They all just kinda melted away into nothingness. It wasn't worth the time and energy to finish. (and it is a source of energy in in of itself. Technically) The fries were cooked, but the seasoning wasn't amazing. We got the MD seasoning with old bay and vinegar. They didn't have enough salt, and they didn't actually put any vinegar on. All in all, it's just not worth $14+ a burger. Your paying for the cute building, the cast iron pans they serve the fries in, custom wood skewers for each burger, etc. Rude indeed.
Moving away from the food: The aesthetics were good initially, but the longer we sat there the worse it got. Badly designed barrel tables with too high chairs, lights hanging at head level, a speaker plugged into an extension cord outside, tables were technically cleared, but not cleaned or sanitized. Also, what appears to be the freezer is outside and it was sitting at a steady 36°. Not food safe. Sadly we saw that after we finished eating.
If you are looking for a quick bite, just go to McDonald's or Wendy's or something. If you want aesthetics, any real restaurant will do.
I will miss...
Read moreVISITED MONDAY, DECEMBER 16, 2024 (our daughterâs 18th birthday!) We originally had intentions of going elsewhere but like most restaurants, it was closed on a Monday. đ However, we were truly not disappointed eating at Rude Burger as our 2nd-backup choice. Upon arrival, it looked to be closed but we made sure it was open prior to trekking all the way to Easton. Yes; itâs open on Mondayâs. What a cool little restaurant. It was pretty much us and the employees when we walked in. Most customers ordered ahead and picked up as an option from my observations. As u can see from my images, thereâs a cozy sitting area to the left as you walk in the establishment and rustic, wooden picnic-like tables and chairs dining area on the right. The decor was simple. There was a small bar and across from it is where you can view the menu and place your order. Like most restaurants, be prepared to pay more than you would anticipate for a boutique eatery. I say this because itâs one of a kind burger place. Although there is a sister restaurant a block away that caters to bbq enthusiasts. Refer to images below for our order. The verdict: We all enjoyed our selected meals. But, for me, I donât think I would try the Go Gee Gui again for two reasons: I knew it was bbq but didnât enjoy as much as I had hoped. Nothing exciting from the first at first bite. Too much bbq. All I could taste. Not enough kimchi and cilantro for better balance. The 2nd reason is I would like to try something different. The fries especially with cheese and unique beverages were great too. Lastly, the wait staff was friendly and attentive. We look forward to trying this...
Read moreNot really a big fan of this place. We got there about a week ago of making this review, comma and the lack of interior seating was extremely small. We ended up sitting at the booth tables. Try to order with the very small selection of items accounted a total of is total of 4 or 5 total burgers. Is each Burger on the menu was about $14. We ordered the burgers and I believe I got the Is 3rd item on the Burger list, And the hamburger itself was extremely small the patties are very thin and they smothered it and ketchup and mustard Is, not to mention the top sesame seed bun was covered every single millimeter with a sesame seed which was extremely overbearing. On top of that that gives you a massive heaping load of is in load of generic potato French fries. Most of the seating was outside but since it was extremely cold and very wand I'm very windy it was very hard to get seating in general general, and on top of that they drink selection for nand for non alcoholic things was very few and had a very off brand is off brand drinks. Half of the inside seating waseating was individual love seats or lazy boy type single seats around a Woodstove. Which takes up again half of the inside ceiling there is a giant bulgy mirror that gives off the illusion of more space for interior seating but takes up the whole wall Is of the connected wooden booth not to mention everything inside is completely wooden no cushioning no nothing so don't expect to sit very long. The phrase and presentation and atmosphere itself is the reason I'm giving it 2 stars. I prefer the rude barbecue over the rude Burger very overprised for...
