Troika Gallery — Attraction in Easton

On a beautiful warm and sunny day in March my 101 year old mother in law and I decided to treat ourselves to lunch out and a visit to Troika Gallery. While the lunch was good, the real treat was the feast of gorgeous paintings and sculptures we visually consumed at Troika Gallery. We slowly studied every painting. My mother in law who has been to many galleries through out her life said it was the best she has ever been too. She especially loved a stunning painting by William Storck of two ships on the Chesapeake. I was mesmerized by Kevin Fitzgeralds other- worldly creations. Truly we loved all of them and enjoyed the entire experience. What a balm for the soul. The gallery owner was friendly answering all our questions. It was nice to visit a place that was accommodating to a person with a walker and with places to sit and contemplate. Hopefully we will both visit Troika...

I am not a lover of art galleries, but we stopped in here one Saturday to kill a little time before dinner. (The town of Easton rolls up the sidewalks at 5-6 p.m. on Saturday.) Some of the art here is competent but not memorable. The real find, however, was the work by Victor Nozovtsev, a Russian emigre whose paintings are bursting with color and interesting textures. I also enjoyed the botanical watercolors of Ken Lehman, which seem to be detailed and clear enough that they could probably sit alongside the works of Jean Jacques Audubon. A friend recommended this gallery when I had a large acrylic on canvas painting that had begun to ripple a bit down each side. Peg and Laura were great to work with, even though it was a small project for them. Customer service here is excellent, and the gallery displays many pieces of fine art for all tastes; many by local artists. Their framer re-stretched the canvas; the fee was modest and I had the painting back in about a week. I definitely recommend this gallery...very...
