TRASH!! Gave one star because no stars is not an option! Went on Mother’s Day to eat breakfast here, drove about 40 minutes in the rain just to be told that it was reservations only!!! When I asked the host how would I know that he said he posted it on Facebook, so if I’m not looking at his post on facebook you’re going turn away paying customers on Mother’s Day. He Didn’t even have the audacity to pretend to look for a table(there were about 5 empty tables) and be accommodating or say Happy Mothers Day… and he made it seem like it was my fault because I didn’t know about their policy for Mother’s Day!!! Besides there is no way to make reservations on google!! Don’t waste your time with this rude establishment in addition, it didn’t even look all that nice like people say in their reviews it’s a hyped up open space. I have been to many way better places just look at my profile!!
UPDATE: this is in response to the owner’s comment below. Thank you for your response as it completely validates my post about your establishment. I’ve seen the way you respond to people who give you bad reviews and complain about your bad pancakes, and you’re rude and unprofessional as you are below. To add I have given other establishments bad reviews and they respond with a humble ask to give them another chance to make up for the bad experience unlike yourself. I have gone back and given them a validated review based on a full experience! My review was based on my experience so it’s not ridiculous to me! Now people can see for themselves who you are!! Also do you know why owners do reservations only on holidays, it’s because they can’t stand the heat….you know what they say, if you can’t stand the heat get out of...
Read moreLet me start by saying this was a tough Day for my mom since it's her first Mother's Day without her mom; we wanted to treat her to a special breakfast. We drove about 40 minutes in the rain at 8:30 this morning. We were asked if we had reservations when we walked into the empty restaurant, but we replied that we didn't realize we needed them because the website specifically said first come, first serve. The website said reservations were needed only for private events prior to today, but was just changed as of tonight to include holidays as well. The hostess treated us like we were dumb for not realizing we had to call for reservations on Mother's Day, explaining how they posted the news on Facebook. We were offered the 1 o'clock time slot by someone who had canceled their reservation, but it wouldn't make sense for us to drive 40 minutes home and return. How do you expect someone to understand their policy of making “holiday reservations” and following them on social media if they aren't local and have gone here many times before? Anyone who looked up this place to go on Mother's Day would not have realized this was the one exception. I've seen a few reviews of this happening to other people today, which is unfortunate. To make matters worse, the owner was highly unprofessional, with her rude responses to any bad reviews that were left. Luckily, plenty of other restaurants in Easton are much more accommodating and...
Read moreWe had a very enjoyable breakfast early Saturday morning. We shared two entrees; mocha pancakes and the Hakuna Frittata. Both were delivered at the same time and were hot. Both were very tasty, especially the frittata. We also got a side of breakfast potatoes. The service was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is fun and enjoyable. Overall a very good experience and we will return. However...a few minor complaints that keep this from being a "rave review." First, the frittata did not have any side. There should be a small green or fruit salad. Second, the aforesaid potatoes...they were nicely seasoned and cooked well. As an extra side, since again nothing came with the frittata, you would expect to see a decent portion. The small salad plate was only partially filled. Perhaps another spoonful? Third, the pancakes did not come with syrup (since they are a special version and not regular pancakes). We had to pay an extra dollar for the syrup...weird but fine. The problem is that it is listed as "maple syrup" on the menu. It is clearly not "maple syrup." Instead it is the cheap corn syrup based table syrup. Bad enough that they charged for it, but at least if it was actually maple syrup it would have been more palatable. Finally, if you get regular coffee, there is a limit to one refill. I recognize that this is not a diner, but this just seems cheap on...
