Salon at the Silk — Local services in Easton

The last time I was there, the appt. lasted almost 4 hours. I had a trim?short hair and a half head foil very short foil Be careful- A little of this extra and some of that extra. never asked if I wanted anything other than the trim and foil. After 3 1/2 hours later the total was well over $400 dollars.Many breaks taken by stylist and staff. This was the second time at this place. If money is no object and average quality of services, this is your place. Hair cut for short hair was $100.00. such a rip off.

I disagree with your response to my poor review. Much of what you said was embellished, and just not true. Yes, I did call for another appt. with very limited services, Minimal trim, few foils, and a reasonable time constraint. Having had my hair foiled for over 35 years, I know how long it SHOULD take. Three and a half hour appt is a sign, to me of lack of time management and knowledge. Knowing all this after giving me the appt. , you cancelled it. So we have, poor time management, average cut, ok color. and I was there for hours. Fortunately I have gone to a Salon in New Jersey where I m now living, and have had amazing results. Please tell Annette sleeveless tops are gross when she is shampooing hair and her armpit was in my face. Just plain...

Where do I start! I last minute booked an impromptu appointment online with Angerine, my hair was a total mess from some failed color attempt and I had to get it fixed. This was my first appointment with this salon, so I was definitely excited to go in. Angerine is a creative WONDER! My hair color went from a disaster to the most beautiful all over blonde. She exceeded every expectation I had going in, because again, my hair was a WRECK when I sat in her chair. She passed no judgement, immediately came up with a plan, was completely transparent on price breakdown, and got straight to work. Again, she completely EXCEEDED any expectation I had, and I left feeling like a brand new person. Her assistant Marissa was also extremely wonderful, gave an amazing shampoo, and helped so much in the major process it was to get my hair looking and feeling great again. Not only did I leave with such a great result, but I had so much fun with the two of them and already booked my next appointment. I can't wait to go back! Totally recommended this salon! My Backstory: Moved back to NJ from NYC, 4 yrs ago. Still haven’t found a good fit salon for my curly/wavy hair. Most people don’t know how to cut curly hair. I was recommended Salon at the Silk. I Drove from Princeton NJ to Easton, PA = 1.5 hrs, to see a certain hair stylist, named Bella. She specializes in Curly hair! Great experience, beautiful/relaxing space. Love my healthy new haircut! Bella was very professional and kind. Super attentive to my needs and showed me some tricks of the trade on how to better care for my locks! I received a conditioning treatment, hair cut, and blow out/style. I will be back! Made my next appointment! Highly recommend. Also I love Aveda Products, which is what they exclusively use. Cute little store attached! Might have splurged and bought some beautiful lace tops...
