This Miguel Jr’s location is one of the best. It’s open a bit later than most and has plenty of seating, which makes it a great choice for a casual bite. The staff is always friendly and attentive from the moment you walk in, and I’ve never had an order messed up — a rare win these days. Today I stepped out of my usual and tried the Pozole. My grandma might be rolling in her grave, but I’ve got to say — it was pretty good. Definitely not homemade, but surprisingly flavorful for a fast-casual spot. The tacos could’ve been a bit crispier, but I had the beef, which was juicy enough to cause some softening — not the worst trade-off. My wife thought her enchiladas were a little dry, but she prefers them extra saucy. Mine were spot on. Even though there’s another Miguel Jr’s closer to home, this one has become our go-to — and that says a lot.

Growing up in SoCal's Burbank/Valley area we got tacos, burritos, tamales, taquitos, tostadas from our friendly Hispanic neighbors or a nearby taqueria. Although Miguel Jr's is far from a taqueria I appreciate the authenticity, the last time I tried them was about 4-5 years ago when they had $1 Chile relleno burritos (weekend special).. this location wasn't even here at that time. Got something in the mail $5 for an original burrito, I mean why not! As soon as we walked in it was nice and clean, smelled of delicious food and our server was fast and friendly. The burrito was huge and enough for 2 meals; beans, rice and meat seasoned well! The only down side was not having cilantro and onion in the burrito, I get it... going for the American palate, maybe give a choice/option?

I had the Pozole for the first time here with NO tripe aka cow stomach and I had the pork one it was really the best Pozole I've ever had now I did feel some kind of way that they did not give me flour tortillas however they did give a little plastic bag of good cabbage and lemon and the soup was so tasty you almost didn't need a tortilla BUT I would have loved a tortilla. I would totally go back and I didn't add any salt lol also the bowl of soup was a pretty good size bowl for the price. 👌🏽🔥🔥🔥👍🏽. I also had the coffee horchata drink and it was okay if you like that like cinnamon horchata taste with pretty much a coffee after taste I give a 7.5 if you like coffee and horchata you pretty much like that I just wouldn't put it down as one of my absolute favorites 😂

I generally have no complaints about Miguel's and I have tried several difference franchises because they never disappoint. I usually go to the location on River Rd and decided to try this one as it was in my way home. I ordered the El Potato with Chile Verde and to my surprise it was extremely salty. I can chalk this up to a bad batch and not make too much of a big deal. I have been ordering this same item for years with no issue. I guess someone got was salt happy today. Anyway my true gripe is about what happened in the drive thru. There was an issue with the intercom on my end because I heard a lot of static whenever the person taking the order was talking to me so I was able to get my order in and when I approached the window I let the cashier know that the intercom generate a lot of static while she was talking as just an FYI. All she did was look at me and say "okay" in a way that made me feel like I was wasting her time by telling her. It was no "oh thank you so much I'll make sure we look into it, and thank you for letting us know". I thought her lack of response was a little rude because as a customer I'm informing them of something that can cause issues with other customers so I guess I expected a different response. Anyhoo...

Update July 2022: Consistently great service. Only once was there a problem with our order and they fixed it immediately. I tend to go in even for takeout since our order has become complex. I watch the care they take with the orders, it's very nice. The food is so yummy too.

Op: Omg this was our first time trying Miguel's. My cousin has been bugging me to try it for ages because she loves the ones down in Anaheim.

I woke up craving Mexican food and decided hey why not. So tried the Horchata and the Coffeechata before we even left the drive thru window. They are both amazing. Jessica at the window was splendid! Great service, very friendly. Even ran out to catch us when we drove off without our kid's meal.

As much as I really could have tried one of everything on the menu we all decided the Choose Two combo gave a good start to test the menu. The regular and kid's drinks are of good size, and the larges are proper large drinks. The food is really good. Thick corn tortillas, good meats, very yummy. Definitely will...

I recently visited Miguel's Eastvale and wasn't going to review because their Chile relleno burritos and beans and cheese burritos are pretty good. Then... my son in law went and sure enough they're very stingy on their meat dishes. He ordered some tacos and you could actually count the pieces of meat placed in each one..4 !!!! I suppose they charge a dollar/ea. piece of meat because that's what each taco cost him, $4. He rarely complains, but this really got to him. There are so many different Mexican resteraunts around to choose from with good portions and decent pricing. So here goes, I had previously picked up food from Miguel's and thought I had accidentally gotten my grand daughter's bean and cheese burrito because there wasn't any meat in a Chile verde burrito I decided to purchase for a change of pace. I finally bit into about 4 pieces, also, of the meat, but I just thought I must be imagining it. Thinking of doing vegan here....where's...
