My family and I have eaten here countless times since we moved to the area two years ago. There have been many times, especially when we order take out food, that our order is wrong. We really like the food, but todays service may have been the last straw for me. Most everyone that works there is very friendly, but there is this one young lady who has seated us in the past, or brought our food to the table and she always looks miserable. Not friendly at all. I am really not sure why she works in a restaurant directly with customers considering her attitude.
Today, I picked up a to go order and I wanted to check it before leaving (since it's been wrong in the past, and you don't want to find out when you get home). The young lady handed me my food, I paid and now semi regret leaving a tip... I asked the gentleman who I paid if I could check my order, he said yes and pointed to a table on the side. I was trying to open the bag, which drives my husband and I nuts, they tie it in a tight knot so you have to tear it open, making it difficult to check it. Anyways, I was trying to undo the knot and that young lady walked up and got thisclose to me, in my face and asked what I was doing? Very rudely might I add. I said I just wanted to check to make sure it's correct. She literally just walked off. The encounter was so rude and hostile and I felt sooo terribly uncomfortable that I'm not sure I'll go back now.
We go usually 2-3 times a month, and are ALWAYS very friendly, my kids are friendly, we're quick eaters and we tip well, etc. Once I looked at my order it was correct, however I'd ordered two meals and the guy taking my order on the phone said that comes with two salsas. There was one salsa about 1/4 filled? This is the second time lately that they've done this where we got a take out order and got one salsa that looked practically empty like it'd been eaten out of. A very nice man who works there was walking by and when he looked at it I asked why they're barely filling the to go salsas. He then asked me if I wanted it full? I think any customer would... I wasn't going to fuss over that, I just told him I ordered two meals and it was supposed to come with two and he went back and got me a slightly more full one to go with the 1/4 full one I had, but that strikes me as the weirdest thing to be stingy about that they didn't used to do. That makes me question how well they're doing since that's the second time we've placed a to go order and gotten one barely filled cup of salsa. If I were Jalisco, I would be very careful about employing people that are so rude to customers too... It only takes one bad experience and you lose business and that spreads if a customer talks to friends/family or write reviews. I read reviews for everything and if I read too many bad reviews for a place I don't even try it. I think they need to speak to their staff, but specifically this young lady about being more polite. :( We may give it another chance down the line, but the rude encounter was unlike anything I've ever experienced anywhere. It truly made me uncomfortable. I do know I'm 100% done getting take out orders, so that will take away business from us because we have two small children and sometimes that's just...
Read moreHorrible customer service! I asked the waitress for another margarita and told her that I didn’t like the pina colada flavor I took one sip and it just wasn’t good to me. She comes back to tell me that I can get another but I would still have to pay for the first. I repeated to her that it was displeasing to me.. she says they made it correctly. I said I understand but it is gross to me. I was at a dinner table with coworkers, ended up canceling my meal and just enjoyed the company and conversation because I lost my appetite due to that because I was upset... everyone is still eating and she comes to bring me the $8 bill for the margarita I took one sip out of. I wanted to act out of character.. I will never return which is sad because the food is great but they are shiesty! Never had an experience like that! Usually restaurants I’ve been to replace what you don’t like without charge....
Read moreThe worst Mexican restaurant in the lake area probably the worst I've ever been too. Have been there on four different occasions and the service seems to get worse everytime. The worst trip was the last time I went there had a young child come out of the kitchen area and approach our table and insult us. The waitress over heard the conversation of this child towards us and quickly came to the table and apologized and told us she was going to get the manager the manager gave a half hearted apologizes that it was her child and that she had to bring her child to work due to babysitting issues. Frankly the managers attitude appeared that she could care less that it even had happened. To make it even worse the food was awful and the order took over 40 minutes to bring out.
