China Garden — Restaurant in Eatonton

2022-12 Update-Great to be able to eat in again. We had lunch today and was greeted with great food and service. I had Hunan beef (extra spicy) and my wife Moo goo Gai Pan. Portion sizes were generous.

2021 Update- only Takeout during the pandemic, but still great food. I once again had General Tso chicken, this time extra spicy, still very flavorful and a little spicy, but still not very hot. We also had Moo Goo Gai Pan and some Crab Rangoon. Called in and we picked up in 15 minutes. Take out and menu photos added below.

2019 Review- Great Chinese restaurant. Food was fresh and excellently prepared. Hot and sour soup was rich in flavors and some of the best I’ve had. General Tso’s chicken was also well prepared and flavorful, although if you want it spicy, be sure to ask for extra spicy. Service was fast and very friendly. Parking is plentiful since the restaurant is in a strip shopping center. The restaurant is a little hard to see since it is located in the corner. Dinner are $8-12 with lunches running...

My daughter and I came to eat lunch. Shebknew what she wanted before I did. She ordered and I asked the server to wait before she put hers in until I could decide. We also ordered crab ragoons and egg drop soup. The lady brought daughters order, before anything else. then offered to take it back then heat it up when they prepared mine. She brought us eggrolls.instead of ragoons. When my order arrived, it smelt really strange. After bravely tasting it..... It was scorched, BURNT if you will! . 🤮 And then drown to mask the horrible burnt flavor. My daughters order tasted like chicken bouillon... nothing else. You couldn't taste the noodle, veggies or meat... I regret coming here. And I won't be back. If I get sick from eating...

OMG, got there kinda late on a weekday - pretty close to closing time. Just wanted some Kung Pao Chicken...... The place was nice & very clean. I was greeted and sat immediately. A mature woman waited on me and brought fantastic tasting hot green tea along with some type of chips as an apetizer. Really hit the spot. Next the food came out hot and was waaaayy more than I could eat at one sitting (and I can eat a lot) I cannot say enough about how good it tasted and that the nice woman checked on me a lot. I was afraid it was after hours, but a young man assured me that they still had 30-40 mins before they locked the doors. I took home enough for lunch the next day. Looking forward to going back & getting more...
