Mogie's Pub — Restaurant in Eau Claire

We arrived on EWEC family weekend and it was immediately clear the management had left the staff unprepared. Our hostess admitted it would be a bit longer for food. We got our drinks as expected, and then they checked on us after five minutes to see if we were ready for more drinks. Since our glasses were already half full or more we said no thanks. Right after another staff person came over and said they forgot to put the ticket in for drinks and they needed to know what we had. They then ignored us like the plague for 45 minutes. I finally flagged down a waitress and asked her where our food was at. She said she’d check and then asked what we were drinking. I thought she was implying that they would give us a free drink for the wait. Nope, it was on the bill. I told her that if our food wasn’t started they should pull the ticket. When she brought the drinks back she said it was on the grill. She brought it out 10 minutes later and our burgers were burnt and cold. We ate what we could and got the heck out of there. We...

Been going there for years. Service and food varies. Somes good...sometimes totally sucks..within that range. I.have had to ask to put my order in fir food fifteen minutes after a server got me a glass of water when it was slow. Was ignored by the servers.It was a bad service experience after that and I could not bring myself to tip because of it. One of the like 5 times in my life I have not tipped and it has to be a real special occassion for that. I heard the OWNER crabbing that to many customers were coming in and he under staffed the place during the summer.He has waited on me a few times and has been rude and messed up my order in the past. I have gotten some respectful staff that he has hored that can handle being welcoming and basic courtesy's of waiting on customers. Tips are pooled. Prices ok. In the middle on this place, the attitude of the owner at times makes unattractive, but he has some good...

IF YOU HAVE ALLERGIES, THINK TWICE. My husband has allergies. Ordered a hard cider, told them it said it's just fermented apple juice. Also mentioned allergies are so bad he can't order anything off the menu. They give us his drink. He has an allergic reaction. Come to find out we're out of his meds and have to run to Walgreens. Tell the waiter when we are ready to pay, find out IT IS A DIFFERENT DRINK! They don't even serve it anymore. They compt the drink, but our waiter didn't even bother to tell us. She brought us a different drink to someone with severe allergies. They could have killed him. Food was decent, but I won't be attending again. Just little regard for my husband allergies, even after we explained they are so bad he won't be order off of the menu. Really? Could have at least told us you don't serve that drink anymore and ask him if he wanted...
