Chippewa Valley Theatre Guild — Attraction in Eau Claire

I saw The Hatmakers Wife here. My first impression....the place needs a face lift. Something as simple as new carpet and a new coat of paint. It has a dark basement kind of feel. The seats are close together and are all one level so it was difficult to see the entire stage. The play itself....it wasn't that the acting was bad at all, it was just that the play was hard to understand. I spent the entire play trying to understand exactly what was going on.
