My boyfriend and I saw the new sign and we were itching to go out here for a date. From the outside, it looked like a burger/sports bar and we just wanted to check it out. We both LOVED the interior and atmosphere of the place and we really want to go back a little later to see how it gets at night (like a Friday or Saturday night). There were so many games (pool, shuffle board, foosball, etc.) For people to play and we really liked that. It kind of gave us a vibe from our favorite bar back and home (small town). But we still have a hard time describing the place to people. It's definitely a bar, but it's also definitely a restaurant. The food is better than just a bar and grill but it isnt the same as restaurant food.
On a different note, my boyfriend loved the place a lot more than I did. He probably would have gave a 5 star review and I probably would have gave a 3 star review, thus I'm combining the two and giving a 4. The service was kind of slow. At first I understood because it was pretty busy in the restaurant section- most of the booths were full. But after we ordered out drinks we didnt get them for at least 5-7 minutes. Then when we ordered, it took probably about 15-20 minutes for us to get our food. At this point, many of the booths that I could see had already finished eating and we hadn't even gotten out food yet. Our server came up two different times and said that our food would be out shortly, but it seemed like it never was.
When we got the food, it looked really good. He ordered the burger with 3 patties (I forgot the name) and he LOVED it. The taste was great and it was just as greasy as he wanted it to be. Also the price for a 3 pattie burger was insanely cheap. My however, I was less impressed with my burger. I ordered the Cheee Head. From the description it seemed like the burger was just going to be doused in cheese (cheese curds plus like 3 different kinds if cheese) but I was very underwhelmed with the amount of cheese I got. The cheese curds were cold, the cheese on top if the burger was completely melted to the point where I could hardly taste it, the cheese inside the burger was practically nonexistent. My other complaint was the the waitress asked my boyfriend if he wanted pink nor not (for his burger) but she didnt ask me and then I got severed a well-done burger with no juice (and I typically like my burgers medium)
I definitely want to go back and try a new burger and see how the service goes the second time. Overall I did enjoy it, but there are things that can be worked on!

Read moreTonight was bar none the absolute worst service that I have had the bad luck to experience. Although we were seated immediately, our waitress was slow to arrive and our drinks even slower. We were forced to yell to try and flag her down to order an appetizer. The cheese curds were mediocre at best, I've definitely had better but at least I was able to enjoy them. I ordered a beer and the waitress never offered me a second. My dining companion had to ask for a refill on their diet Pepsi and my other companion ordered a "strip and get naked" that was incorrectly made. The description claimed pink lemonade, summer shandy, amaretto, and vodka. What arrived was lemonade, water and a hint of summer shandy. The drink was clearly not mixed well if at all. We waited over a half hour for food, and I never received my food. One person ordered a pizza that was burnt around the edges, the other ordered a burger with jalapeno bacon that cost $1.50 extra for 2 burnt, flavorless pieces of bacon. I ordered a burger that we were told was going to take an extra 10 minutes to cook, it ended up being almost 30. My dining companions FINISHED THEIR MEALS BEFORE MY FOOD CAME! When I asked to speak with a manager, he argued with me about my paying for the meal and said although my burger would be comped he wasn't able to comp the other meals "because they'd been consumed". When I informed him that I would not be paying for the meal and would be leaving reviews on every platform I could find he said "We don't want that" and finally aggreed to comp the whole meal. We were eating surrounded by empty, dirty glasses (and were never offered refills) and appetizer plates. My companion had to ask for a plate to eat her pizza. The cherry on top of this horrible situation, as we were driving away I saw 3 employees standing around the back door smoking. Needless to say, I will never be returning to this restaurant and will do my best to make sure no one is subjected to their appalling idea of...
Read moreBoth my wife and I were sick today and the only thing we ate together was Wiscos last night. On top of that, it didn’t feel like there was much quality in the food and our cheese curds came out cold (corrected immediately.)
The staff is pretty solid and nice, plus we enjoyed eating here before COVID hit and the switch to a limited menu. They get their full menu back June 8th, so I’m hoping they bounce back - though their chicken sandwiches are pretty poor regardless.
Great atmosphere, great potential.
UPDATE* my buddy and I came here to celebrate our birthdays with our wives; his was yesterday and mine was a week ago. We’ve been going every year since before it was Wiscos and never had a problem getting the dessert, even if it was a day or two past. Tonight, however, my friends and I spent over $100 and they said since the birthday was yesterday, we wouldn’t get a dessert. I get having policies and procedures, but I feel businesses should have a little flexibility for people, especially these days. One of my friends said they hated their sandwich and there was a lot left to be desired. This is a place that you either love or hate - and tonight showed me they haven’t changed a bit since my last review. Profit margins are clearly more important than customer...
