Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Edinburg

My mistake for coming here a 2nd time.

The first time I placed an online order. After a 20 min drive into town for it they claim they don't have it. They sure charged for it though. They find it and instead of 4 combos they only give us 3.

The wait was so long it defeated the purpose of online ordering. This was despite nobody else being at this restaurant.

That problem gets corrected. We go home. All the drinks are wrong. Instead of sprites with light ice we have lemonades.

Today I visited for the 2nd time. Drive thru order. They say it'll be 10 min so go park and wait.

After 20 minutes I call inside. Let them know my ticket says 255pm. It's now 327. Their response is actually the time is off on the receipt.

Ok? So instead of 35 min I've been waiting 20? Great where's my food?

They finally bring it out without my sides. Fries aren't ready. So I change my sides to mashed potatoes. I had to pay 1$ to upsize the drinks despite the official website saying the spicy combos come with large drinks included.

And no napkins or utensils are placed in the bag. Initially we weren't even given straws either.

I wish you could leave a 0 star review. The service is horrible. DO NOT COME TO THIS STORE. The "manager" Flor is not accountable for her or her teams actions. Even if they knew in the end they were wrong for messing up the order and not Including food items that were missing. They will say you are wrong. Not until the "manager" went to go check out the cameras, she couldn't even come out herself but send an employee to fix the issue because they were wrong. No apologies, no accountability, no sincerity to try to rectify the situation. Something so off about this store that employees are doing whatever they want at the store, even go outside and check out each other's exhaust and revving the vehicle to see how loud it was like if it was some kind of car show. No wonder in other reviews they say they take to long (check in the parking lot to see if they are there). Our receipt was even taken away so we won't call corporate. I ordered a pretty good family order. The food was absolutely fresh. Although the food is great, the employee at the window taking orders, requested me to drive to the front and wait for my order because a customer was honking. Upon, parking in the front. Wasn't even 2 minutes before they gave me my order. I asked her if everything was in there. One item was missing which was the fries. They were burnt to the crisp and they put 9 fries only for 2.49. I was like darn, "Aren't we rationing at this location". She told my daughter she had in fact put them into our order bag, and I had to get off and tell her ma'am. No you didn't. And what you have handed to my daughter was uncalled for. I need argue the quantities but this was an absolute scam and rob. Check your orders and make sure your not called a liar.
