Ok, where should I begin.....the lighting and ambience was just NOT it. Not what I was expecting at all. Harsh lighting and terrible seating arrangement. There's a wall that separates half of the dining area which is just not giving. The waitstaff was just terrible. I had to ask for my food 5 different times, 2 times to the other waitress helping out the people next to our table because our waitress was no where to be found. Finally when our waitress passed I asked her 2 additional times, and she says its almost ready well this went on the entire 1 1/2 we where there....untimely I never go my food and everyone else around us got there later than us and did get their food, finished eating and left before I received anything. I finally asked the lady who looked like she was in charge but was so overwhelmed and could not handle the pressure. She was RUDE and dismissed the fact that my food was never brought out and said I wouldn't be charged for it since I didn't get it. Uh, HELLO...Captain Obvious. I would never go back to this place and would not...
Read morealmost 1 hour for my order to be ready. when i got there at about 8:25... the cashier said it would take "a couple minutes" after 13 minutes i asked again how much longer, the girl said "its almost out"
after 25 minutes she said there were a lot more orders ahead. i left... no one ever bothered to apologize.
this is totally unacceptable customer service. the cashier (idk her name) she was wearing a black cat suit with a fluffy tail for halloween.
i called after a total of 1hour... and they said "oh yes, now its ready"
maybe invest in peoper customer service training for your staff.
customers just need a better experience. i get that yall were busy, but a quick "sorry /i apologize for the wait time" goes a long way and will only take 2 seconds of their time. that girl, as i mentioned, never apologized or said thank you. and i would ask her if she could check the status, but she would just stand there chit chatting with the rest of your crew and look at me from the...
Read more2/5 STARS - Neutral ⭑⭑ - As soon as I walked into Tsunami Sushi, I was greeted by a kind hostess who was very sweet! Though she was attentive, nothing can outweigh the lack of flavor some of the food here has. A lot of the meals are dry, have no flavor, and lack essential spices and tastes of Japanese cuisine. I must say, however, the sashimi was very delicious, and I would definitely come back for it. If you prefer teriyaki (or other dishes) over sushi and sashimi, I’d recommend you eat someplace else. A note to the cooks: do not be afraid to add more flavor! Fresh herbs, oils, etc. would improve your dishes drastically. The calamari and chicken dishes were especially lacking. Additionally, two TV’s (one playing music, another blaring a show) are not necessary in such a small restaurant! Overall, though it was pretty average, there is definitely room for improvement here! Focus on...
