Gorditas y Tacos El Chilito Edinburg Tx — Restaurant in Edinburg

Tried this place for the first time and the food was decent but I was very dissatisfied with the bill. I used the drive-thru to order a meal which had an additional charge because I changed the filling. Totally ok with that as the menu advertised the extra charge. I ordered a canned drink to avoid paying the almost $4 for the fountain drink. When I get to the window, I paid but didnt receive my receipt. When I asked for it and looked over it, I noticed that the meal was suppose to come with 2 sides. My plate had 1 side and the receipt showed i had declined the 2nd side. I was also charged a fountain drink but got a can. I truly felt like this business was trying to upcharge what they could however they could. There was that famous "credit card" charge even though I paid with a debit card but what restaurant doesnt do that now a days... Won't...

This place is absolutely delicious and has awesome customer service! We’ve been to several of their locations and all of the food has the same amazing flavor and consistency!

Their menudo is so delicious and probably the best I’ve had at a restaurant! It is made fresh daily, full of flavor, very clean, and not greasy! A beautifully decorated restaurant with friendly service and delicious food. There seemed to be maybe three servers, cashiers, and food prep. They were very busy and probably working out some quirks. The server was very helpful in trying to order. I will say this, when we return we will probably get it to go only because, the drinks, which we usually drink water killed our bill, over $9 on drinks alone.
