Kwong's Cafe — Restaurant in Edison

Best Chinese food around! Their boneless spare ribs are to die for!! We could literally eat them every single day and never get tired of them. My stomach is super sensitive to pork, usually within 5-10 mins of eating pork (unless I prepare it) I am really nauseous. Not with their boneless spare ribs, they are cooked to perfection!! I promise you, if you order them, you will NOT regret it 😂 Whenever I have family or friends over and I don't wanna cook, we order Kwongs and every single person can't get over how insanely good their Boneless Spare Ribs are!!! (Ok now I'm hungry for some 😂) We've been coming to Kwong's for over 10+ years and will never go elsewhere!

They are under new management and we had no clue because there weren't any indications. Back in January I had surgery, so my wonderful cousin knows how much we love this place and surprised my family and I with dinner from them. Everything was nothing close to the old owners. The regular dishes we bland and their to die for boneless spare ribs were raw!!! We actually had to cook them in our broiler for 45 mins!! When we called to see what happened because we've been going here for 18 years and just couldn't believe our eyes and taste buds, they said oh we're under new management! I felt so bad that my cousin spend $150 so we didn't have to cook and yet we had to cook everything and season some of it. My heart actually hurts 🙃😄 because those were the ABSOLUTE BEST boneless spare ribs I've ever had!!! 😭😭😭 Now where do we go???!! Old Kwong's Cafe...

We got Beef w. Broccoli combo plates with pork fried rice, chicken on a stick with a couple shrimp sauces. I ordered the general tso's combo plate but I asked for them to make it with the sweet & sour chicken cuts & I was blown away. The flavors were so good. Literally cooked to perfection. Even the egg rolls tasted like fresh shredded cabbage inside them. The pork fried rice had a slight bbg smoky flavor and it was moist but not greasy. I had to stop myself from over eating it was so good. Beef & Broccoli was so tender and thinly sliced and sauced, the beef melted in your mouth. The Broccoli must've been steamed 1st b4 being cooked bcuz my word it was good in the beef plate and my general tso's. Their shrimp sauce is addicting. Worst customer service!!!!! I ordered chicken wings and fries. I asked if my order had been sitting there a long time because I was also picking up other orders for my coworkers and I was told no. When I got back to work which is only a 3 minute drive away everything was cold and soggy. When I called the 1 guy answers and says I have to come back and get a new order. I shouldn't have to inconvenience myself and leave my job AGAIN to pick up a new order. It should have been fresh when I got there. Or they should have delivered a new order to me.. We will NEVER EVER order from this place again!!!!!!!!! Worst customer...
