This Wawa location is doing false advertisement of NJ Law. Stating there is a law for wearing face mask and social distancing in the store. This is not true at all! There is no NJ law requiring you to shop in a store and this is false advertising of laws. In addition, the face mask wearing and social distancing is health order and isn't a state NJ law.
No business can create a store policy that violates established law. Their store requirement of face mask wearing and social distancing is in violation of the US Constitutional 1st and 4th Amendment, Federal Civil Rights Law (Title 11, Section 2000), and NJ Civil Rights Law - The New Jersey Law against discrimination (N.J.S.A. 10:5-1 et seq.) (LAD).
This store manager and head CEO are clueless that they are categorized as a Public Accommodation business. According to the civil rights law in relation to public accommodation businesses, a store can't deny someone service because they are there to serve the public goods and services. People start filing a lawsuit against these store practices because these fake advertising of laws as well as denying services is against the Federal and State Civil Rights laws. Also, forcing people to social distancing is impeding on someone's right to freely move about in any setting. This is known as false imprisonment and it's against the law.
Here's another tip, it's illegal for any person without a medical license to give medical advice. There is a state penalty for impersonating someone with medical authority. Any store clerk or manager telling a customer to wear a face mask is illegally giving medical advice. If you need legal assistance for free, there are lawyers volunteering their services to help citizens protect their civil rights. Contact Constitutional Law Group at...
