Noodle's Time 面缘 — Restaurant in Edison

The food is very well worth the price tag. I never paid much attention to this place before until I was craving noodles one day and walked in after reading the menu. The waitress was attentive and brought menus and water for the table pretty immediately upon sitting down. I got the Nanning Style noodles with soup; it had a variety of ingredients in it but it tasted delicious. We also got the Liuzhou Style noodles, the only issue with it is that the broth had slightly too much red oil (this might be personal preference). Don’t get me wrong, the noodles were amazing and filling for the price tags.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was also quite cozy. I only wish that it had air conditioning since it was crazy hot, but this is just, again, personal preference.

We have been watching the rice noodle show on Netflix and my husband was curious how “stinky” the snail rice noodle can be. We ordered the “enhanced” version of it, and it came with a lot of toppings. All of them were so well executed. My husband did not find it “stinky” at all. He said it was just normal pickled vegetable smell. He loved the crispy soy beans and peanuts in the soup. I ordered the crawfish rice bowl, and it came with a good amount of crawfish, more than I expected. And the sauce to mix the rice in tasted very hot and flavorful. We also ordered a stir fry AA choy with diced garlic, and it was only $11 for a big plate. Good portion, good taste. I'll start with cons

The place smells bad. It smells like a dirty bathroom. The smell of the place took my appetite out but I still decided to see what's it about. My mistake. The service is not the worst but still bad. Ordered #25 which is the spicy noodles. It smells like the restaurant itself. The noodles are too soft and no bite to it. Too salty.

If you can read past those, there are a few ok things. The flavor isn't all bad. The tofu, vegetables, meat in the noodle soup is pretty standard. The spicy level is standard as well.
