Great Wall — Restaurant in Edmond

Ordered food from here via online by accident. And man was it an accident. This was the worst Chinese take out I have had in Oklahoma City. Especially based on the fact that we went on a Friday night around 650PM there should have been no reason to have had old tasting food it should have been fresh. Wish I could give it zero stars will never make that mistake again.

10/25/17 Wanted to add to the rest of this story. After I left this review I was contacted by the owner/management. They made me several offers to make it right and give us a free meal. I did not want their food. I just wanted my money back. They could not do that but the would offer me more free food if I changed or took down my review.

I don't write truthful or rough reviews for free stuff. I do it so hopefully the establishment will see it and fix the issue.

Obviously there are plenty of previous bad reviews about this place. I have since been back to the NEW GREAT WALL which is where we meant to order food from and it was outstanding and fresh.

Maybe other folks can be bribed to give a better review or to take down a review. That's not going to happen with me.

When calling a child just said hello. This was not the 1st time it happened. I wanted the lunch special before noon, he started they weren't serving lunch today only dinner specials. I ordered, drove back to work opened my box and had no sweet and sour sauce. I called to ask about it. I asked for a manager the kid stated there was no manager there but I could here his mother and father in the background speaking in their language. I explained my issue and the kid just hung up in my face. I called right back and explained my disappointment to the child that he would just hang up on a customer. He asked what I ordered and told me there was sweet and sour sauce in my bag. OMG then why am I calling. I could hear the mother and father in the background and the child just speechless. They have lost my business. I'm truly over them. The last time I ordered, I was forced to order the dinner meal the large sweet and sour chicken because I was told they were out of small containers. Disgraceful customer...

This is my local Chinese, we’ve been getting take out from here for three years, tonight I ordered two combos and crab Rangoon, and steamed dumplings. I upgraded the lomein to shrimp lo mein. Got home realized I was missing my egg rolls and there was no shrimp in my lomein, I called three times before getting someone on the phone. Then the lady proceeded to call me a liar and that they have cameras which I responded you should check the cameras the. Because I didn’t receive the egg rolls nor the shrimp in my lomein. After the way she spoke to me I will NEVER eat here again. I will find a different Chinese restaurant from now on. Such a shame !

After posting this she called me back to say she checked the cameras and that they in fact did miss my egg rolls and said she didn’t believe me about the lomein. so freaking unprofessional. Never again will I spend my money here. I will drive passed to go to...
