A fun new place with a state fair food vibe that allows you to draw on the chalkboard walls while playing table games. This locally owned and operated fun restaurant specializes in Korean style corndogs, Boba Tea, and smoothies. Now don't let the word corndogs scare you. Their corndogs are not your usual run of the "meal" corndogs. They're made with higher quality ingredients and look like jumbo corndogs but with a fun take such as cheese, potatoes, blue takis, and red hot Cheetos. I personally am not a fan of corndogs but absolutely loved these corndog/hotdog bundles of deliciousness, as far as we could tell the breading didn't even have cornmeal in it and we suspect it might be more like funnel cake but with the exterior rolled in granulated sugar. Which we wouldn't have originally ordered but glad we didn't know because it was actually a nice touch and we recommend everyone at least try it in its entirety unless you are a diabetic. But the owners did mention when we got to chatting with them that they can customize your food and can make it without sugar. The food was made to order and is not frozen. I must add that they all look like corndogs but some are listed as hotdogs on the menu. Also it is important to mention that the wooden sticks are color marked for identifying which corndog is which type. The color identification chart is shown on the bottom of their menu at the register. They offer several sauces for dipping that are available in large sauce bottles at the front register. The Spicy Ranch is similar to Spicy Mayo but instead of mayo it is Ranch and pretty much pairs well with anything if you like spicy. Their Regular Ranch is a Buttermilk Ranch but paired well with the Mozzarella corndog. The Regular ketchup paired well with the potato hot dog. Their Honey Mustard is unique and differs from the regular honey mustard, theirs were more creamy with a sweet undertone and paired really well with the Cheddar hot dog. They also had an additional possibly Sriracha hot sauce but we passed on that one. We highly recommend that everyone support local and give this place a try. One thing to look forward to are the new menu items which the owners mentioned were coming in the...
Read morecame out to try a matcha drink and mango bingsu.. the bingsu was good! but the service was terrible. they did not tell us our order number or give us a receipt. we sat for 30 minutes waiting for either item to be called out. eventually, a mango bingsu came out that no one claimed, so we assumed it was ours. after eating the bingsu, we went up and asked about our drink. they claimed that they did not remember us ordering. we told them the order number that was called out for the mango bingsu we received for them to refund, which ended up not being our order. after checking the refund receipt, we noticed that the card and price did not align with our initial purchase. the orders looked similar with the mango bingsu and a matcha item. when we addressed this, we explained how someone else might have taken our order number when it came out since we were not informed of our number, leading to the mixup of orders. one of the workers cut us off while we were explaining and snapped at how they had many bingsu orders, her tone implying that it was our fault that we took the wrong order. she refunded us but she was not very happy about the mixup, loudly complaining that they lost money. despite the order mixup, we never received our initial drink or the second item of the order we accidentally took while waiting during that 30 minute time period, so they forgot an item anyway.
despite the bingsu being good, i would never come back because of the experience. all the workers need some type of customer service training. how do you fail to not give an order number, not give a receipt, not check on customers with no food for 30minutes, forget an item, and snap at a customer? waiting was not an issue, as i understand orders can get lost, but snapping at us and loudly complaining about losing money in front of us was the last straw leading to this review. i recommend asking for an itemized receipt or not coming...
Read moreI received a coupon in the mail saw what appeared to be fried cheese on a stick, alot like what you get at the fair, I got very excited then reminded myself I was on a diet and then tossed the coupons in the trash. Then about a month later I was driving with my boyfriend and saw the store front and thought, hey, that's that place. We stopped and came in and now my mind is blown. I was looking at the menu when the chef and possibly owner informed me of the braised beef noodles that were recently added to the menu. I ordered it. It was incredibly delicious. I'm not sure how we go from fried cheese and hotdogs to bok choy, tender and delicious braised beef in a broth that you can taste the love in. The cherry on top was her secret homemade spice elixir. I'm here now for a second time hopefully it was as good as the first. I'll...
